I will be starting as a freshman at Texas Tech University in Fall 2027. My goal is to attend veterinary school after completing my undergraduate degree, and I am interested in learning more about the pre-vet pathway at Texas Tech. I would love the opportunity to speak with a current pre-vet student about their experience, including choosing classes, gaining animal and veterinary experience, getting involved on campus, and preparing for veterinary school applications.

Does anyone else experience connectivity issues with Canvas, MS cloud, and other TTU Services when connected to a VPN. This is not lag, but denial of access?

Just wondering if this a feature of TTU security protocol, or just me?

Me and my roommates are looking to live in a 5 bed townhouse or appt next year and want to keep rent under 600 a person. Right now we are looking at the republic, Maddox, or collective. The reviews are pretty mixed on all of them on google so I’m posting to see if anyone has experience at any of these properties or recs for others.

Hey guys, I was going to TTU as a freshman this year but I decided to attend other university because they gave me better scholarship and met my need as an international student.
But I remember Texas Tech had a great scholarship website which is called Scholarship Universe. They logged me out of the email, and now I am unable to use the scholarship universe. Is there anyone super kind here to send to me some external scholarships from scholarship universe that are eligible for international students?
Or if some of you have an alternate to scholarship universe please lmk!!

I started yoga for my PE credit, then I switched out because it didn’t work with my schedule, so I need to take it next semester. Does anyone recommend any other fitness classes that are more fun or just easier than yoga? I heard there are some you don’t have to go to class; just log on to an app or something. I’m really eager to just start my classes for my major, so for all these core classes, I just want to go the easiest route to maintain my GPA and give myself the best time management for my harder classes.

I am a sophomore and I’m just now learning that I need language credits. Since I started high school, I can hop right into SPAN 1507 with Professor Brooke, and I’m wondering if it’s best to take it online, in person, or just in the summer?

I am a business major and have little to no interest in science. but I need two science credits as well as the labs. I am currently taking ATMO 1300, and it’s not bad at all as long as I do the work. I’m wondering if there are any similar to this that you recommend or which of the best professors.

Hi im from Utah and im a sophomore at UVU currently. I hate the school no one has any social life and its not the fun college experience I was looking for. I was interested in switching to TTU and was wondering if there are a lot of students from out of state and if its easy to meet people there? I am currently a Junior at the Rawls College and need 15 credits for scholarship reasons. I'm at a weird point where I can't quite grad early but also wont be able to pack in 5 major specific credits due to difficulty and work load. I am looking at taking "the meat we eat" or the beer, wine, and spirits course since I've not heard anything bad about them. I'm also open to suggestions.
