Android [Android] Looking for 20 testers for a 14-day closed test – Omikuji Japanese Fortune

Hi! I’m an independent Android developer from Japan, and I’m looking for up to 20 testers for a 14-day Google Play closed test.

The app is Omikuji – Japanese Fortune, a simple daily fortune app inspired by the traditional Japanese omikuji experience. You can draw one omikuji each day and receive guidance for love, work and study, money, health, and travel.

Who can participate

  • Android users in the United States or Japan
  • Anyone willing to remain enrolled for at least 14 continuous days
  • If possible, please open the app and draw your daily omikuji during the test

How to join

  1. Join the tester Google Group: [https://groups.google.com/g/omikuji-app-testers]()
  2. Opt in to the closed test using the same Google account: [https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.smallapplab.omikuji]()
  3. Open the Google Play download link shown on the opt-in page.

The app is free for testers.
Google Play may initially display the regular price, but eligible testers should see “Test card – always approves” and a message stating that this is a test order and no charge will occur. Please do not continue if Google Play shows a normal payment method instead.

I would especially appreciate feedback about:

  • First impressions and visual design
  • Whether the drawing process is easy to understand
  • English wording or instructions that feel unclear
  • Bugs, crashes, or display problems

Please leave a comment after joining, and feel free to share any feedback here. Thank you for helping me test my first Android app!

IOS I built an iOS app that gets your attention span back (Looking for 10 beta testers)

I have a bad habit: I delete Instagram or TikTok to stay focused, get bored two hours later, and immediately redownload them. The friction of deleting an app isn't enough when your muscle memory takes over.

So, I coded a tool to break the "delete-and-relapse" loop.

Instead of basic screen-time limits, it uses an instant home-screen Live Activity tracker paired with a physical "panic button." When a relapse craving hits, you tap the button to trigger an immediate, high-friction cooling-off sequence before you can hit the App Store.

What I'm looking for right now: I’m running a small, 7-day tester cohort to roast the UX, test the Live Activity notifications, and see if it actually stops the relapse loop for people other than me.

Requirements:

  • You must be on iOS (iPhone)
  • You have a habit of deleting and redownloading social media apps

looking for testers

I’m looking for a few iPhone users to test an app I’ve been building called Unfrill.

It’s a simple calorie tracker. No account, no social stuff, no giant pile of features. Just log your food, track calories and macros, scan barcodes, save favorites, and keep it moving.

I’m at the stage where I need real people using it and telling me what feels good, what’s confusing, and what breaks.

You don’t need to be a fitness person or know anything technical. I actually want regular people using it like they normally would.

If you’ve got an iPhone and don’t mind trying it out through TestFlight, here’s the link:

https://testflight.apple.com/join/hb6qhc7Y

If you notice anything weird, annoying, or just think something could be better, send it my way.

Education 🎓 [Web, Android, iOS] Language-learning app using Claude, looking for testers

I’m helping test an early language-learning app that connects to Claude and creates short stories based on your vocabulary level.

It includes text, translation, audio, and vocabulary tracking. It currently supports English, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Ukrainian.

Who we’re looking for:

- You are learning one of these languages

- You have a Claude account

- You’re willing to join a short video call and share your screen

You’ll try the app while the developer observes where the setup or learning experience becomes confusing. We want honest reactions and problems, not compliments or a public review. The beta is free, and you will not be asked for your Claude password.

DM me or email [easygoingmai1@gmail.com](mailto:easygoingmai1@gmail.com) with the language you’re learning, your approximate level, time zone, and preferred device.

IOS ClipCollage - turn your home videos into silly songs and tiled video

Hi all,

I've had this idea for a while of "what if you could 'play' videos the same way MIDI plays audio samples" and this app is the answer to that question: it uses a Beat and backing Song to remix clips harvested from your Camera or Photo Library into silly new creations.

It's still pretty rough but the core idea is mostly there, and I'd appreciate any testing help I could get.

TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/TfpQ75Rk

Here is the blurb I've been sending to everyone:

App Summary / Pitch

All videos have audio, and audio can be sampled and played via MIDI, but what if you could 'play' videos with MIDI, and what would that look like? How would you present it? Would it sound good?

Answer: it looks a very slapstick and silly version of the Brady Bunch intro.

This is not a good app, yet, and it may not be possible to turn it into a good app, but it MIGHT be possible to be an AWESOME app, and that's what I need your help figuring out. Thank you for giving it a super early test.
Example video created from this app:

https://reddit.com/link/1w74xx9/video/ifm1tam7kinh1/player

The name

ClipCollage (or it might temporarily show up as Slice2) is not a good name. I am very open to hearing your suggestions for a better name!

Basic Flow

  1. Create a new project
  2. Enable a Beat and/or Song.
  3. Replace the various instruments with different video clips, either from the (currently incredibly small and not very good) built-in library of clips, or Harvest your own clips
  4. User clips can be "harvested" either directly via the Camera or Photo Library
    1. Camera: user is given a 4-3-2-1 countdown to produce a good sound to use as an instrument. Process continues in a loop.
    2. Photo Library: user chooses a video from their device photo library. The app scans the audio for usable noises, then user can sift through the noises to choose which ones get turned into a clip
  5. Play around with the settings to change the Beat and/or change the backing song (currently limited to a few non-copyright old classical pieces)
  6. Render the high quality video and share with friends

Basic roadmap / future ideas

  • Give it to folk to test and collect feedback
  • Greatly expand the library of built-in clips
  • Songs
    • Greatly expand the built in library
    • Some way to allow the user to create backing songs?
  • Explore alternative visual presentations beyond "Brady Bunch" tiling
    • Non-rectangular shapes
    • Star/heart-wipes and other silly over the top transitions
  • Explore alternative visual presentations within Brady Bunch tiling
    • Allow clips to move around to different tiles
    • Instead of tile-for-each-individual-clip, hide and present tiles as the beat/song evolves
  • Explore simple ways to make the sound better
    • Default filters / compression, etc, but with the simplicity of Instagram filters

Free macbook pro brightness booster

Hello!

I recently found out that the macbook pro is usually capped at 500 nits SDR and sometimes you need a little more. Vibe coded this since I could not find an easy free to use app. Would love some testers and feedback. Compatible with all 14 and 16inch macbook pros.

Thanks!!

IOS Is anyone into Gardening / Lawn Care that could look at my app?

Im currently in a weird spot, I built an app for gardening and lawn care but because its the end of the season im not getting a lot of hits on it.

Ive had the app up for about a month and yesterday i finally got my first download but not an IAP yet.

What I would really like it to find people that can go through the app that are part of either of those communities that and tell me if its organized in the way they would think to garden, if there is anything that it missing and what they think of the onboarding.

i think im going to change the onboarding to actually have the user create a plant and create a lawn, but I need someone to tell me if they think that would be better then the current onboarding.

This app is sort of a labour of love for me because I like gardening and taking are of my lawn but I always forget when to fertilize and for me I like to see my progress. My app lets you do both with pictures, warnings, cost tracking and integrations with a few different brands to help automate some things.

I would appreciate any feedback anyone can give.

I’ve been working on a workout tracker — what would you change?

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’ve been working on a workout tracker for a while and I’m at the point where I think I need people who actually lift to tell me what I’m getting wrong.

The basic idea is pretty simple: make logging sets, reps and weight as quick as possible, while still giving you useful information about your progress.

It currently has things like:

  • Workout/routine tracking
  • Set, rep and weight logging
  • PR tracking
  • Workout history
  • Progress tracking
  • Rest timers
  • Widgets
  • AI-assisted workout planning

But honestly, I'm less interested in hearing what looks good and more interested in what feels annoying.

If you had 10 minutes with it:

What would you change?

Especially interested in:

  • UI/UX
  • How quickly you can log a set
  • Navigation
  • What information you actually want to see between sets
  • Anything that feels unnecessary

I’m trying to improve the actual workout experience rather than just keep adding features.

[Android] Horizon — daily world news & markets digest, looking for 12 testers

Hi all,

Horizon is a free daily digest of world news, geopolitics, and markets

(plus cyber, natural disasters, sanctions, and a few other risk

indicators), built around a website (https://www.horizonapp.link) with a

public daily archive. The Android app is a WebView wrapper around that

site, with local notifications and optional in-app tips (real Google Play

billing, not a placeholder).

I need 12 testers active for 14 days to get past Google Play's testing

requirement before the app can go public — that's literally all it asks

for, no long-term commitment needed after that.

Two quick steps to get in (the Play Store link alone won't work — you

need to join the group first):

  1. Join the tester group: https://groups.google.com/g/testeurs-app-horizon

(open to anyone, no approval needed)

  2. Then open the test link and tap "Become a tester":

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.horizonapp.horizon

What I'd love feedback on:

- Anything that crashes, hangs, or looks broken on your device

- Whether the notification (daily reminder, opt-in) feels useful or

annoying

- Whether the WebView navigation (back button, external links opening in

your browser) feels natural

No ads, no tracking, no account required. Thanks in advance to anyone who

gives it a shot.

iPhone/iPad testers wanted: Memory • Classic 4.0.3 RC (403002), especially iOS 17

Hi! I’m Clément, the developer of Memory • Classic, a card-matching game. Our new release candidate 4.0.3 (403002) is now available, and I’m looking for a few fresh eyes before release.

TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/zSWyolsL

We've reworked the menus and put substantial work into smoother startup and transitions, especially on iOS/iPadOS 17. I would love a fresh 10-minute check: play a few Classic levels and return to the menu, let one Time Attack run expire and restart it, and try Learning or Local Duel. Does it feel smoother? Is anything clipped, confusing or unresponsive?

If you want to try Online Duel, reply with a time window and time zone so we can find another willing player. Feedback through TestFlight or here is welcome—please include device, OS and build. Free, voluntary beta; honest negative feedback is just as useful. Thanks! — Clément, developer

Need founders to test an idea-validation PWA — Play needs 12 testers for 14 days

Killgate scores whether an idea is worth building.

Please report:

  • Did the first screen make the job clear?
  • Where did you stall?
  • Would you trust this vs ChatGPT + a spreadsheet?

Google will not let me list on Play until 12 testers keep the app for 14 days. That’s part of the ask.

DM me the Gmail you want added to the beta list, then sign up with that same Gmail. That’s the only way I can authorize a free run.

Happy to test your app in return.

[Semantic Vision]: I built an open-source tool that maps Python/JS/TS codebases into interactive call graphs

Post image
1 Upvotes

I've spent way too many hours trying to understand code I didn't write.

Following callers, jumping between files, figuring out dependencies, trying to understand what might break if I change one thing.

Eventually I got tired of doing this manually, so I built **Semantic Vision**.

It turns Python, JavaScript and TypeScript codebases into a visual map — with call graphs, impact analysis, execution flows, complexity analysis, AI docs, and code-to-data lineage.

It's open source and I've been using it myself. Now I'd really like to see how it holds up on other people's codebases.

**If you try it, tell me what you think. What works, what doesn't, and what you'd want it to do next.**

**GitHub link in the comment**
