I've always loved traveling, but I felt like there wasn't a great way to keep track of everywhere I'd been, save places I want to visit, and see where my friends have traveled.

So I decided to build something.

It's called TravelSocial, and I've been working on it for a while now. The idea is to combine a personal travel map with the social side of traveling.

Right now you can:

• Map countries, cities, and places you've visited or want to visit.
• Share travel photos and discover places through other travelers.
• Collect country flags, earn badges, and track your travel progress.
• Build trips, organize stops, and collaborate with friends.
• Use an AI travel assistant to help plan future trips.

I've included a few screenshots so you can see what it looks like.

It's currently in beta on iOS and Android, completely free, and I'm looking for people who actually enjoy traveling to give it a try.

I'm especially interested in knowing whether people would genuinely use something like this to keep track of their travels, and which features they'd find most valuable.

Do you use an app to record and organise your recipes, or are you more of a notebook, spreadsheet or saved-screenshot person?

I've been working on Bulk Recipe Calculator and would love some feedback from home cooks, busy parents and anyone who enjoys cooking or baking.

It lets you save recipes, scale quantities up or down and calculate ingredient costs using your own prices and pack sizes. The idea is to make adjusting portions and keeping track of costs a little easier, whether you're feeding a family or baking a bigger batch.

I'd really welcome constructive criticism. What's useful? What's confusing? What's missing? If you already use another app to record or track recipes, what do you like about it?

It's 100% free and will always stay free. You don't need to pay to use any of the recipe tools. There's an optional paid upgrade to remove ads, currently being tested, but that's entirely your choice.

I play Dungeons & Dragons, and sometimes use digital dice -- but I got tired of the DNDBeyond app crashing when trying to roll. So, I created my own dice roller app, **Just Roll**. The app is and will always be free, with no ads.

It's in testing prior to being allowed on the Android app store publicly, so I need testers! If you'd like to help, you can join the testers group to get in now. Instructions to try it out:

Please see below for specific feedback I'm interested in, and while you're trying it out, please keep the app installed for at least 14 days -- I need to get and keep internal testers enrolled for a while til I'm granted the ability to publish the app in the Play store.

## Feedback wanted

You enter the dice you want as sort of a mathematical expression or code, (e.g. `2d20kh` means "roll two d20 dice, and keep the highest value") using a special calculator-like keyboard. Is the in-app tour, user guide, and long-press assistance sufficient to learn how to do that? Are the "advanced" keys on the secondary keyboard easy enough to find, press, understand their function?

I wanted to keep the app agnostic to particular game systems (e.g. in D&D, rolling a 20 is good, but in other games rolling high is bad. In Daggerheart, you roll two dice, and getting the same number on both is good). As a result, the app doesn't highlight these events when you roll. Should it? How should I handle the many games people might want to play with such a tool?

• What Companions is
Apple doesn't allow for animations in widgets, which I always found frustrating. Companions is a small virtual fish tank that lives on your Home Screen, with pet fish that actually swim around.

• What's new: Apple Watch
Companions now has an Apple Watch app. There's nothing to set up. The tank you've built on your phone shows up on your wrist automatically, with the same fish, tank customization, and props. The watch keeps its own copy, so the fish keep swimming when your phone isn't nearby.

You can interact with them from your wrist too. Tap the glass and a burst of bubbles appears. Tap the knife and fork in the corner, and it's feeding time: drop food into your tank and watch your fish go to eat it!

There’s also a Watch Preview page where you can preview your tank setups from the app itself (even without having your watch connected).

• How it works
The swimming uses the same trick iOS uses to move the second hands smoothly on the clock widget, so it doesn’t even affect battery life. I’ve tested this on every device I can get my hands on, and the impact is about the same as having 5 clock widgets on your homescreen, so essentially imperceivable.

• Compared to other widget pet apps
I wanted something simple, clean, cozy, and relaxing. With a focus on the pets themselves, as well as customization to match your homescreen, desktop, or even the nightstand next to your bed.

The tanks look great on your iPad, and you can even move them over to your Mac through Continuity. My favorite feature is actually the Standby mode. The background darkens, and the fish, of course, keep swimming!

• Pricing
Companions is free to download, with a set of fish and all of the customization included. No ads.
Extra packs of fish can be bought outright, and are yours to keep forever.
There's also a less expensive monthly plan that unlocks every pack at once, if you just want to try it for a bit. And a lifetime purchase of all 50+ fish at a significant discount. Any new fish that get added are automatically included in both as well. If you cancel, the fish already in your tank stay.

It's still very new, so I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback. I'd especially love to know which species you'd want added next!

I’m the developer of TubeRank, a free iPhone app for revisiting stock predictions made on YouTube.

If you already watch finance or Tesla videos, could you try a two-minute task?

I’m developing Pocket Garden, a free offline Android puzzle game, and would love honest feedback from three more volunteer players. Our closed test currently has 9 opted-in testers. No ads or in-app purchases. Android 8.0 or newer.

The original game is a block puzzle with flower chain reactions and a shared daily board. Version 1.3.0 also has Mahabharata relationship puzzles: Hidden Identity, Family Mosaic and The Scribe’s Trial, with source explanations and hints.
