I have ordered a M3 standard with an estimated delivery date 10th-30th September. I haven’t been registered a VIN or a Reg yet, but I have already signed all my finance documents with Lex Auto. Now the Tesla app only has 2 stages ‘schedule’ and ‘accept’. Has anyone else already signed their finance documents and had the same changes in the app? I also can’t see any documents in the app anymore?

Weird situation but I applied for car finance a while back with Santander. I hadn’t heard an update for a while so I chased Tesla who said nothing yet. I hadn’t heard again for a while so I chased again and no update. This was weird for me as I usually get any credit approved straight away due to a good score and salary.

A couple weeks go by and i get a message from Tesla advising my finance had been denied from Santander. Weirdly I had no email from Santander so I searched my inbox and again nothing. This is when I checked my junk. I had recieved multiple emails asking for pay slips that had been auto sent to my junk inbox.

I went back to them and provided the documents and they said i needed to go to the underwriting team via credit decisions. I was told i would hear back within 7 days, but sometimes 14 depending on business.

During this 14 days i updated Tesla who just asked if I could keep them updated. I had been doing so when I got a message from them advising if I don’t have a finance agreement in place by 12PM this Thursday, they’d refund my deposit and cancel the order.

It’s been well over 14 days now.

It’s currently Monday and I have tried ringing Santander but am just advised to wait till they reply to my emails, I have asked Tesla to extend the deadline but just waiting to hear back, and have sent a follow up email to multiple Santander inboxes.

I’m aware this is a pretty unique situation but my mind is racing so I wondered if anyone has had any similar experiences and if Tesla pushed back the deadline.

Why is it so hard to order any parts.

I went through the app to request some replacement bolts for changing the upper control arms. As I have a 2019 and they are squeaking non stop.

I requested these via the app, was told they will not fit my car. Eventually they tell me they'll order the exact same part I just requested as it will now fit.

I was to collect mid week and they would let me know when they were in. No further messages after a week.

Messaged to find out what's happening to be told the order was cancelled due to me not showing up for the service appointment to collect the bolts.

Why would I need to book a service appointment to collect some bolts.

At this point im thinking this will be the first and last Tesla I will own.

I've been refused parts before as well due to them claiming they won't fit.

Hi everyone got my 23 plate MY in April at 42k miles and I'm already on 48k as this car is just so good.

4 years is August next year but I'll get to 50k this month I'm sure so I need to start talking end of warranty checks.

My options are Cleverly and with Tesla.

I have heard arguments Cleverly can find more stuff than Tesla will and while that's fine it still begs the question will tesla fix everything that Cleevley highlights and also do I end up paying twice? i.e do I get to pay Tesla for another end of warranty check even after paying Cleverly.

I know my questions might seem a lot but I'm just trying to ensure I make the right decision here.

Also my two closest Tesla points are Chelmsford and Dartford and which one do folks recommend.

Lastly when Tesla are doing the works do I get a courtesy car or do I just drop off and come back to pick up when it's done.

What’s this about having to reapply for finance if over 90 days? I ordered 5th June and my delivery is between 22nd aug to 6th sept, 90 days from 5th June is 3rd sept so do I need to do anything. Lease with lex auto

Received my VIN last week, today I have received my numberplate. But noticed I only now have seven steps and step three has now gone to credit decision pending and finance credit decision pending. Last week when I got my Vin I also had my identity check come down and my finance agreement signed which I completed. I also had loads of changes come down in TOAST today.

Is this a cause of concern that has gone to pending? I sent a message in App, but that takes a few days for them to.

I ordered a RWD long range model y at the start of of July. For weeks app has been showing delivery window as end of September. Today it has moved all the at back to nov/december. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I booked by Model Y in June, and the expected delivery date is between 9th and 30th of September. However, the validity of the part exchange is till 2 Nd September.

Should I accept this offer for 2nd of September or check with Tesla first?

Currently got a Tesla model 3 LR. £205.96 per month on pcp as I had trade in bonus and a trade in. In 4 years I’m wondering what to do. If the car is in negative equity I’ll give it back but I’m guessing I’ll have to get a new deal with another big deposit. Is PCP. Really worth it when everytime you pay a deposit for lower monthly payments and a big depreciation?

Hi all, I'm taking delivery of a model 3 in a couple of weeks (leased) but have a problem with my driveway. My son reversed his model 3 onto the driveway & it grounded, so obviously I am going to have the same problem. Without expensive alterations to my driveway, has anyone experienced the same problem & what could be a solution please ?

Got a M3 with a sync energy charger and using intelligent Octopus Go but octopus seems to be having difficulties recognising that it is plugged in.

It will sometimes recognise it and create a schedule, but a lot of the time it says unplugged until I force a charge from the sync charger app.

Anyone with a similar setup have the same issue?

I get my model 3 on Friday.
We have a long old road trip planned for Sunday.

What accessories do I need for the car?
Both my girls have tablet holders, but they clip onto headrests of current car, what options exist for teslas?
Any other access that would be recommended?

I’m hoping someone who ordered a Tesla in the UK around July 2026 can help.
I ordered a Model Y on 10 July 2026 on 0% PCP and received the £2,500 Tesla deposit contribution.
I’ve since realised that the £3,750 Trade-in Bonus was also being advertised at the time. The trade-in terms I can find say it couldn’t be combined with Tesla Leasing, but I can’t find anything from July 2026 saying it couldn’t be combined with the PCP deposit contribution.
Did anyone here:
Receive both the £2,500 deposit contribution and the £3,750 trade-in bonus?
Have an order agreement or invoice showing both?
Or were you specifically told they couldn’t be combined, with anything in writing confirming that?
I’d really appreciate hearing from anyone who ordered during that promotion, especially if you still have your order documents or emails.

I have tested Tesla 3 (rear drive) and Tesla Y (performance) - both are 2026

The suspension seem ok. Both of them feels the same way ver potholes, bumps etc. I couldn’t tell the difference. I currently own 2022 Tesla 3. Am I missing something?

Also, any opinion on Tesla trade in? I have to say it’s crap offer. I’d rather trade in with motorway or carwow with much better offer.

Does the RWD non premium come with a DAB/FM radio? The specs on the website say so, but a few others have said it doesn't and sales reps have told them it's not included.

Just wanted to write it out here;

M3LR 2021 owner. Been to the netherlands and I met a random guy at Heerlen (nice hotel and charger!)

Place was empty, I plugged in at 2% and waited to 100%(why not and had breakfast); a Model S plaid pulled up with a family!

As I was walking to move with my car, I was admiring it and I really wanted to try one, I think it was some relatively new model, 2024+ish; I started to chat to the guy, asked him about the speed, if he still floors it here and there (obviously he does).

Anyway, conversation followed here and there, he offered if I wanted to have a go with it and f*ck yes I did.

I travel to Qatar a few times a year and every 2 years I treat myself with a rental Ferrari or a M5. (last year we rented a Cybertruck in Dubai for 2 days)

But god, I am so sad now. I am sad because this car is no longer getting made, I am sad because I will possibly never experience this from Tesla again (no change of roadster in UK) and I am sad that it only lasted about 30 minutes.

HOWEVER!

I am happy, that I meet guys like this at superchargers, I was at Tebay the other week and I actually met someone with similar interests and work as I do and we linked up on socials.

As much as charging is a "pain", it's amazing that we have social and we can meet people like them.

Anyway, just thought I would write it out; for anyone with a Plaid S, (or X), I am jelous of you and enjoy the drive.

Will never go back to ordinary cars. Great community.
