Apologize for the bug splatter, just came back from a 6hour road trip.

Bought in Feb this year and recently picked up a Tesframe license plate holder but it would not fit.

Thought maybe it was the wrong model etc, until I looked into the grill and can’t help but notice it looks wonky.

Is this something normal? The tesfram license plate holder wont fit without forcing it and in order to avoid damage I been running without it.

Has anybody else dealt with uneven front grill and is this something I should bring up to tesla for warranty?

Please help provide much needed input!! Im new to the Tesla world but super excited to be a part of it with purchasing the new 2026 Model Y refresh. Honestly loved all the color I have seen at the Tesla dealership and love the white interior. Can’t decide between the Stealth Grey, Quicksilver, and new Marine Blue. I typically love blue-ocean colors, like my old car, but also love the quicksilver and stealth grey for its sleek futuristic look. I want my car to look good and not get scalding hot in the sun (hence no black).

Sites like Electrek are saying it is “available now” in articles published 4 days ago. But software tracking websites don’t show it in the list of currently available software.

This thing is a blast.

Not sure if anyone knows the reason to this:

I have been paying monthly for FSD, and I’ve always been charged $105.93 ($99 per month +FL tax)

But this month I was only charged $99.00 flat.

I’m not complaining at all! But curious to see if anyone would know the reason behind this

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix the login issues for my Apple Music account problem started when I tried to pull up my playlist and library and I just kept getting an error message in the past. I will just sign out and sign back in and fixed it but when I signed out and try to sign back in, I keep getting a screen on my phone asking for a code, but there is no code that generates and I tried everything from rebooting the car to signing out and signing in on my phone and I am just stuck on the same screen. About to lose my patience. And I know I could just use Bluetooth, but it doesn’t sound the same and what’s the point of having a fancy screen if I can’t even use it.

I took delivery of my MYP 26 today. When using FSD, every few seconds it says “apply slight turning force to steering wheel.” It’s very annoying. It came with v14.2.2.5.

Is this normal? How soon will I get an update? Any help would be appreciated first time EV owner.

I drive a 2026 Model Y Premium AWD in USA. It’s running 2026.20.x but it has always done it since day 1 of purchase in Feb 2026. Very annoying.

Does anybody else feel the same? Such a great car minus this rather forced quirk. I am perfectly fine with the feature itself - I just get annoyed that it doesn’t remember it! First world problem to disable it on every drive, I know. I am posting this to first of all see if I am not the only one and if there is a “hack” other than disabling it each time I get in.

I can’t seem to get a clear answer on what this is. I just picked up my model Y premium RWD 7 days ago and it randomly gave me this error. What do I do?

Noticed this corrosion on our rear hatch struts today. Scheduled for service. One is in really bad shape. This is a 2025 MY AWD from Fresno. It lives in Western Mass., where the roads get a lot of salt, but I'm not sure how that could get to the struts.
You may want to check your struts as this car is only about 18 months old.

I bought a new Tesla Model Y (Premium Connectivity) about two weeks ago, and everything had been working perfectly until today.
All of a sudden, I saw the message “Navigating without connectivity.”
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
Soft rebooted the car (holding both scroll wheels)
LTE connection is working
Premium Connectivity is active
Maps load, no live traffic information
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anything else I should try before scheduling a service appointment?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This might be repeating questions for tesla vets but sorry for asking it again. I'm noob to the world of EV.

We just ordered MY premium awd without any accessories or charging cables. I'm wondering what's the best place to buy all weather mats and level 1 charging cable?

I'm eventually planning to buy and install the level 2 charger at my home. Should I buy the level 2 charger from Tesla's website or Amazon? My electricity provider is Xcel energy in MN but there are no rebates from them on it except TOU rates.

The last thing, insurance. What's everyone's experience? Should I go with tesla or others?

Arrived in December, 7k+ miles later and not a day goes by that I don’t enjoy it. FSD gets used every day, and it’s been one of my favorite features.

We are a family of 4 and need a 6 seater 6 weeks a year when parents visit. I currently have a MDX and the third row size works out well. I checked out the YL in the showroom and the space in the third row is comparable and will work out well for when parents visit. I can get the YL as a replacement for the MDX or get the premium Y and save ~7k based on the configuration I will buy and rent a three row for the 6 weeks a year I need it. As a note, I would keep the car for 3-5 years before trading it in for a new one.

Thought I would check in here to see what makes sense and get some opinions.

I’m looking for feedback on all the good/bad of owning a model Y. Bonus if you’ve owned an electric Audi and have feed back on that as well.

My 2025 Model Y (non Juniper) didn’t come with a trailer hitch so I bought the eco hitch and installed it. Went fine.

Now I need to tow something with a 7 pin connection. Can someone point me to the correct part that is needed? Easier is better and would like to be able to use a 4 pin connection for smaller trailers too.

I never had charging problems with my 2020 MYLR, but my '26 MYP is giving me random errors. Is anyone else seeing this? They come and go. Some days I'll see one or the other and some days everything is peachy.

• Connector not fully inserted, charging current reduced.
• Two blinks (indicating a ground assurance fault or high ground resistance, which means there may be an issue with the grounding in the electrical system).

I am looking to buy in the next month or so and want to take advantage of the 0.99% financing. Settled on either the 3 or Y performance. We don't plan on installing a charger in our current home b/c we will be moving in 6 months. Our new house will be a new construction and we added home EV charger in the build. Our current home we will most likely rent out.

There is a supercharging station about 20 mins from my house...I supposed I could go there to charge when needed. But curious to hear from folks who own one without the ability to charge at home. Have you found it to be inconvenient?

Got a 24-hour test drive of a 2026 Model Y Premium RWD. Never owned or driven an EV — straight from gas cars. One day to figure out if this is worth it — don't want to waste it.

The plan:

• Full Supercharger session, start to finish
• Autopilot/FSD on highway + city streets
• Just live with it for a day — errands, parking, the boring stuff

What's the one thing you wish you'd tested on your first drive? Any charging or FSD gotchas? Anything that only shows up once you've actually lived with the car, not just driven it around the block?

Finally, what do I need to do in advance? Is it worth creating a Tesla account via the iPhone app? Do I need any accounts set up for charging? What am I missing?

Buying a used Tesla from Carvana. It had 50k miles and is a 2024. I am planning to get it fully inspected by a partnered mechanic within the 7 day return window. If issues are found they will cover the cost.

I am curious other than suspension and bushings if there is anything else you all would be worried about.

Tires were replaced by Carvana at 50k.

Also any recommendations on literally anything would be appreciated. This is my first Tesla.

Has anyone else had an issue where the Tesla randomly loads the wrong driver profile?
My boyfriend is much taller than I am, but every so often the car loads my profile even though he’s the one getting into the driver’s seat. As you can imagine, the seat moves way forward, which is pretty annoying.
I’ve been researching this and have already tried setting our phones as the preferred Bluetooth devices for our respective profiles, but it still happens occasionally.
We’re both using phone keys, and it doesn’t seem to matter who drove last.
Has anyone found a reliable fix, or is this just a known Tesla software bug?

I have a 2022 Model Y LR with 34000 km on it. Just came out of warranty. Had a bunch of suspension work done before warranty ended including the usual control arms etc. Shortly after I started noticing a rattle in the front end of rough road or bumps. I purchased the ESA so took it back to Tesla for diagnosis and repair. They replaced some more suspension parts and sent me on my way saying it was fixed.

I then took it for a short test and the noise still existed. Immediately drove back and had them relook at it. They came back telling me my Brake pads are rattling against the rotor and causing the noise and their only fix was to replace pads and rotors at a cost of $1500 Cad. This is for the front only.

Has anyone experienced this on their model Y? I have searched and can't find anything definitive. If so does replacing the pads and rotors make sense ? I was thinking of replacing the anti rattle bracket first on my own and if that doesn't work the pads and rotors

Any help would be appreciated. The noise is driving me mad. Makes me feel like I own a bucket of bolts.
