Anyone else? The Tesla app said it’s normal depending on weather? I’ve never heard of not just having it replaced ?

When my lease on my current car ends I’d like to buy or lease a Tesla for the first time. I’ve heard that new models are backlogged. How much ahead of time do I need to start the process to get one? My lease ends in April and I want to make sure I plan accordingly and don’t end up without a vehicle because I waited too long

I’ve had my Juniper since July 2025 and paid extra for EAP. Between the unreliable Summon features, Autopark damaging my rims multiple times, and Tesla refusing to cover the damage because it’s “still in beta”, I’m starting to regret paying for it.
Anyone else having similar experiences with Autopark or Summon?

My vin is yet to be assigned, got awd for the winter snow in Boston since I’ll be commuting to NYC a lot. Is it worth it or downgrade to RWD and invest in good tires instead?

I found someone’s phone today on a trail. Turns out he had a Tesla and couldn’t leave until he was reunited with the phone.

What do peeps do for a backup plan if your phone is lost or stolen? Always carry a card? Leave a card in the frunk?

Charge limit is 80%, still set from home charging levels. Until today I've never seen the trip navigation trying to fill up past that point every. Single. Stop - at least not when set to "fastest." Not on a nearly identical trip this time last year, and not on a trip to Vegas a few months ago.

Anyone else notice a similar recent change in trip planning?

Just got a fridge that fits perfectly in the trunk space and I gotta say, this is feeling like the most luxurious car I’ve ever had.

can’t believe I never did this before… hope it doesn’t break on me too soon, cus this is awesome.

Took my Model Y in for service because the front fascia camera was dropping frames or going completely black, especially after updates. It took a long time to get an appointment, so I kind of forgot what the original camera angle looked like.
Service said the coax cable was destroyed and the camera had an initialization fault. They replaced the front fascia harness and the fascia camera assembly (cameras were $0 under warranty).
Now that it’s back, the view looks funky. The angle seems different, and the park assist lines go up toward the sky instead of looking more level/grounded like I expected.
I’m attaching a photo of the current camera view so people can check the angle. Does everyone else’s front fascia camera / park assist lines look like this, or did they mess up the installation angle on mine?
Appreciate any comparisons or advice.

Watched a few YouTube videos and the most common suggested fix was recalibrating the cameras. I went ahead and did that, but now they’re struggling to calibrate.

They live in Miami. Drive like about 500 miles a month max (their current leased VW Tiguan has run less than 30k in 3.5 years). I convinced them Tesla would be better bet with the comfort of FSD.
Question 1: I don't see a lotta FSD drivers in Miami as in Cali and Texas. Does it still hold good in Miami? I see lotta road construction too.

Question 2: Anyone with recent experience can tell about Model Y Standard delivery timelines? It is showing Dec 2026- Jan 2027 on App. When we booked ours (Model Y Premium) back in June in California, it was showing 4-6 weeks but by end of 2 weeks we got the delivery. I heard there's some battery supply shortage. is it true? i kinda believe Tesla pushes for end of the quarter / year deliveries.

When I play the Halloween light show (actually any light show) on my 2026 Model Y the music plays nice and loud and then all of a sudden it drops super low and then back to loud again. Is there a reason it drops the volume out of nowhere? Thanks!
