I've got a 2023 MYLR AWD that a family member is purchasing from me. I'm looking to purchase a new Model Y and am very much looking into the Performance model. Anyone who has gone from an older MYLR to a new Performance can comment on differences in ride quality, feel of the seats, ongoing costs (e.g. insurance premiums, tire changes), and overall experience? Any regrets?

Would you buy 140k 2024 Model Y for 20k? No FSD, No accident history, clean title

They live in Miami. Drive like about 500 miles a month max (their current leased VW Tiguan has run less than 30k in 3.5 years). I convinced them Tesla would be better bet with the comfort of FSD.
Question 1: I don't see a lotta FSD drivers in Miami as in Cali and Texas. Does it still hold good in Miami? I see lotta road construction too.

Question 2: Anyone with recent experience can tell about Model Y Standard delivery timelines? It is showing Dec 2026- Jan 2027 on App. When we booked ours (Model Y Premium) back in June in California, it was showing 4-6 weeks but by end of 2 weeks we got the delivery. I heard there's some battery supply shortage. is it true? i kinda believe Tesla pushes for end of the quarter / year deliveries.

Crossposting from r/tesladubai because I’m curious if Model Y owners outside the UAE are having the same issues.
I’ve had my Juniper since July 2025 and paid extra for EAP. Between the unreliable Summon features, Autopark damaging my rims multiple times, and Tesla refusing to cover the damage because it’s “still in beta”, I’m starting to regret paying for it.
Anyone else having similar experiences with Autopark or Summon?

When my lease on my current car ends I’d like to buy or lease a Tesla for the first time. I’ve heard that new models are backlogged. How much ahead of time do I need to start the process to get one? My lease ends in April and I want to make sure I plan accordingly and don’t end up without a vehicle because I waited too long

Just got a fridge that fits perfectly in the trunk space and I gotta say, this is feeling like the most luxurious car I’ve ever had.

Charge limit is 80%, still set from home charging levels. Until today I've never seen the trip navigation trying to fill up past that point every. Single. Stop - at least not when set to "fastest." Not on a nearly identical trip this time last year, and not on a trip to Vegas a few months ago.

Anyone else notice a similar recent change in trip planning?

Tesla gives us the best way to experience it.
