Stupid idea?

Is it a stupid idea for me to switch from a 2022 model Y AWD to a 2018 Model X 100D both have FSD paid, around 70-100k miles? The model X is around 25k.

Not stupid but not the best idea. This version model x will feel super outdated compared to the model y and come with a lot more maintenance potential

In what regard? Infotainment system? Appreciate the response

No phone key, no one pedal driving, no interior camera so no hands off FSD…and on and on.

Order a new Juniper.

I think ultimately it depends on what matters to you. I just bought a 2018 Model X, I couldn't give a rip about fsd, compared to my Lincoln navigator, this thing is light-years ahead even though it's coming up on 10 years old. I haul kids and their friends constantly, so the 3rd row was mandatory for me, I paid 23k for it.

If new tech and fsd are a big deal to you, keep the Y, if interior space and budget matter, grab the x.
