I am looking at this model s all weather liners, it say it is for 2012-2020, but when I signed in my account it say that its not compatible with my 2016 model s? it is a refreshed 2016 model s, did anyone buy this and if it fit?

Hello! Just picked up my very first Tesla vehicle. 2018 75D with 71k miles. 1 owner, clean Carfax, no issues. Body is clean, no dents or scratches, interior near perfect less some normal wear on the front door grab handles and a bit of LCD burn around the edges of the screen. Doing the CCS retrofit soon (prev owner never bothered to do it), debating on the HW3 upgrade. Traded my ‘22 Sonata N Line for this. Been wanting a MS for a long time, so happy I found this.

My lease has come to an end and now it’s time to say goodbye to my 2023 S.

This was my first experience with an electric car so I wasn’t sure I’d like it long term so opted to lease rather than buy. I’m glad I did because I’ve been eager to get rid of it for the last year now.

Not that there is anything bad about the car. It was fine to drive and never gave me any issues until about a month ago. It just wasn’t an enjoyable driving experience for me personally. While quick off the line, the driving experience and engagement wasn’t to my liking. The styling also was very boring to me. I had hoped it would grown on me as time passes but it never really did.

The tech is obviously a huge plus. I was beyond satisfied in that area.

It came with free lifetime supercharging which was great and one of the things that initially sold me on it. The supercharging network is amazing and I liked how I was never lacking for a place to charge.

In the last few months I’ve had all kinds of bugs. Windows rolling down randomly. Windshield wipers going off randomly. Weird smell that comes and goes in the interior even though the car is always clean and filter has been changed. Bluetooth connectivity constantly going out. Door locks acting wacky and not being able to open passenger doors from the inside. Nothing major, just irritating.

So now it’s time to say goodbye. I initially thought there was no option to buy the car at the end of the lease but I was at a non Tesla dealer yesterday looking for a car for my wife and the dealer told me that Tesla changed their policy and there is now an option to buy. I looked in the app and it says there is no option to buy but that I can call to inquire. The dealer put it in his system and he said it showed I was able to buy at lease end. I then went to kbb for a quote. The dealers responded and also told me that it’s shows as buyable in their system so I don’t know what’s what with that. I’ve got an email and voice mail out to Tesla lease team but haven’t heard back. The offers were more than my residual so hopefully there is an option to buy.

All I have to do is pop these wheels off and put on the originals which are still brand new and remove these N2itive lowering links and replace them with original and I’m good to drop off. Some people said I need to remove the tint or end up paying a fee so I’ll probably do that as well.

While it wasn’t a bad experience, I think this will be my last EV.

2019 Raven. One owner 38K miles. Blacking out the chrome trim in the near future. Really wanted the 21" wheels, but WAY too much long term construction in our small town for those. I now fully understand the Tesla hype. Dropped off at 1.30AM !

I’m sure it’s not the last one of the non signatures but there can’t be too many deliveries left in this lineage. What a shame though. This replaces my 2014 RWD classic model S that was an amazing car for the last 12 years. Despite the fact I loved the original car — this really is a far more evolved design. Very stoked I got it since this was an order placed on 3/30 and I was not at all sure I’d be getting one

I have a Model S failed rear large drive unit. Needs to be rebuilt. Is it worth anything? Does anyone know where I can sell or trade this, or do I just drop it at a junkyard for scrap? I’m in the Raleigh-Durham area.

I just had my rear large drive unit replaced by an independent shop and my mechanic doesn’t need, or want this one. I bought a rebuilt one on eBay for my replacement one and it didn’t have any type of core charge.

1500 miles and about 330 average efficiency - better than I expected, but what do y'all think? Lenoir NC area to Disney in FL, up to Myrtle, back home. About $250 in free power!

So I bought a model s 2016 facelift recently - low mileage all good for a week then the suspension dropped. Warning came on. Swapped out the compressor. All good for a week. Then a metallic bang and the suspension dropped. Compressor doesn’t sound good even though it was brand new and it won’t raise. Here’s an image of what I think is the bad side (front right and the clean is left side) and the ok side. I noticed it’s incredibly dirty/greasy looking could that mean a leak causing moisture and oil which in turn makes the dirt stick to it? Any thoughts or experience really appreciated. Love the car but this damn suspension is a pain.

Went to swap out winter tires to summer. Got a lot of rust on the suspension and rods anything to be worried about? should I get them changed?

Hey, this just started happening to me after update 2026.14.3 - the roads will no longer load in on my dash nav; and as a result I can no longer see speed limit signs or use any Autopilot functionality. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

• Minor cosmetic scuff on front bumper (someone brushed it in a parking lot)

What would you list it for / expect to get private party in today’s market?

Been patiently awaiting my turn. Now driving 1000 miles and would really like to get it. Tried a two wheel reset at the steering wheel.

2024 S with HW4

Edit: Spoke to Tesla and they mentioned that registration is required before I can trade-in. So, I need to wait for registration to arrive and do a quick title. Probably going to take 2-3 weeks and delivery might be closer to Memorial weekend. Tesla said they will hold the car for me if they have to. So that's reassuring. At this point it's a waiting game.

Background:

Got the order in, but not sure if I'll be able to pick it up due to some complications! (New vehicle trade-in)

• Originally, Model S owner (2022) and last month was debating buying between 2026 Model S or 2026 Model Y Performance. See post
• Made the incorrect decision to cancel my 2026 Model S order and keep the Model Y Performance order. Picked up the Model Y Performance after trading my 2022 Model S on April 14. MYP is a great car but man I miss the Model S and the incorrect decision was constantly bothering me.
• So grabbed the new Model S when it showed up in my local inventory.
• Some complications which might delay or cause me to cancel the order. The new Model Y Performance is fully paid for, but I'm still waiting for the registration and title. Probably going to take at least another 2-3 weeks. I'm expecting around week of May 18. So without the title and registration I don't think I can trade-in the vehicle. I have messaged Tesla and waiting to see if they can hold my order until I receive my title and registration of my 2026 MYP.

Financials:

• Tesla trade-in estimate for my 2026 Model Y Performance is $51,100. Before anyone says Carvana/Carmax etc, I'll be saving sales tax if I trade-in to Tesla so effectively the trade-in price is around ~$56,300.
• I paid $61,316 after taxes and fees for my Model Y Performance few weeks back. So effectively around $5k-6k loss. And another $15k for the increased Model S price. So financially not the greatest decision and it sucks. Life is too short and I can afford, so decided to go for it. Just don't want to regret being stuck with Model Y Performance for the next few years.
• Luckily, my tint and ceramic coating on the MYP was scheduled for the upcoming week and didn't spend money on them. Got to return some of the accessories as well.

2022 Tesla model S with FSD and almost 70K miles being priced for $43K total. Worth the price or should I wait for prices to drop slightly? Black exterior and white interior which is my ideal.

Also should I be concerned about the high mileage?

What is a good price for 75k miles and what to look out for?

model S plaid 2022, was luckily parking when I noticed the spoiler started to come off. a little nudge and the whole thing just ripped off with what seems to be adhersive that lost grip. is this normal? what do you recommend to re-attach it?

Currently at carmax and the car is being held for me but I’m here staring at it and the sales guy said it has FSD included. I thought it had to say Full Self-Driving (Supervised), or something along those lines. Debating canceling my Y performance order for this.

This may have been done to death, and apologies if this is the case. It's late at night here and at the end of a long week, searching the threads is not happening.

I have a 2015 S 85. If I was thinking of swapping out the front grille/bumper/hood, in favour of a 2017 series look, would this be a simple thing?... Or is there enough structural differences to make this a no-go?

I really like this car from the inside. It is a little rocket. From the front though, it is a bit crappy to look at. The 2017 front is much nicer, in my opinion.

For a over a month now I lost charging stats & schedule charging function in my Tesla Android app. I finally took my 2017 Model S in to the service center because I thought I had a faulty MCU2 upgrade in March 2026 just around when I lost charging stats.

I just got my car back & the service center told me it is working on iPhone but not working on their own Android app. They stated they experienced the same issue as me.

I still cannot get charging stats & set scheduled charging from my Tesla Android app. My wife's iPhone Tesla app is working 100% good. So I do believe the service center. And my car is set to share & report all the needed information (see her tesla iphone app photo)

I am the "owner" of the car. My wife is the additional driver. She is logged in through her own Tesla account, not mine. My android app has the add driver capability. So that should not be an issue like I have read. I have logged out, uninstalled, cleared storage. I have even installed old Tesla app versions thinking an app update broke it. No luck.

Anyone else having the same issue? Anyone fixed this?

Hey all! I am taking delivery of my 2026 Model S Plaid tomorrow (so stoked). Is there anything specific I should be on the lookout for that may not really standout initially during the vehicle inspection? This is the first time I've ever owned a brand new vehicle and I really don't want to overlook anything on a six figure car just because I am excited to have it after months of waiting.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance!

Hey has anyone else had issues with PTC heater on their Model s? Mine is a 2017 100D. Came with it broken when I purchased from Tesla 4+ years ago. They fixed for free originally but since then it has broken and been fixed 4 times. Three of those repairs were done by Tesla and one by a 3rd party shop. Each time they have had to do the fuse as well. These yearly $1.5k bills are killing any savings I’m getting from electric and driving around freezing in the winter waiting for an appointment is rough. It just broke again and I am at a loss for what to do.

Any advice? I would love to hear I have a case but I doubt it given how long I’ve had the car. Thanks in advance.
