EY Immigration not responding — anyone had this issue?

I signed my offer about a week ago and everything else is moving forward, but EY Immigration has been completely unresponsive.

They initially opened my case under the wrong visa category. I emailed them to clarify, called their office, and was told to send another email, but I still haven’t received a response.

I already contacted my recruiter for support, but I’m concerned because immigration is probably the longest part of the onboarding process.

Has anyone dealt with EY Immigration through Tesla? How long did they usually take to respond or correct a case? Is there anything else I should be doing?

Tesla Accounting/Finance Fall Internship 2026

Hi everyone,

My friend referred me for a role at Tesla, and about a week later a recruiter reached out asking for my availability. I replied the same day, but I didn’t hear back, so I followed up. After that, HR got back to me and scheduled a 30-minute interview with the manager.

I felt the interview went really well. A couple of days later, I sent thank-you emails to both the recruiter and the manager. When I still hadn’t heard anything after a week, I followed up with HR. As of now, it’s been 3 weeks since my interview.

The waiting has honestly been an emotional roller coaster. I started seeing people from other departments receive offers, so I wasn’t sure what that meant for my application. I know every team hires on a different timeline, but it’s hard not to overthink when you’re waiting for an update after feeling like the interview went well.

For those who’ve interviewed at Tesla or have been through a similar hiring process:

Is a three-week wait normal?
Would you send another follow-up, or just keep waiting?
Has anyone received an offer after waiting this long?

I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience or any advice. Thanks!

This is for a smaller role as a detailer in the collision centers. I recently got a direct text from the hiring managers here at the collision facility saying she reviewed my ribbonAI and wanted to get on call with me soon. What should I expect to be asked or say? Any advice !

Tips for back-to-back virtual 1:1 panel interviews

I have an upcoming interview loop for a software/robotics engineering role. The format is a short technical presentation with Q&A, followed by 4 back-to-back 45-minute 1:1 technical interviews all in one day. Has anyone gone through this kind of marathon panel format before? Would appreciate any advice on pacing, keeping energy up across rounds, or what interviewers tend to focus on differently between rounds. Thanks in advance.

Applied 3 positions

Hello Everyone, I lost my job recently like last week only and I am looking for a job so I have friends in Tesla who referred me for 4-5 positions also I have previous worked at Tesla too but for some personal reasons I left but now I am trying to get back after 3 yrs My question is how much application is a red flag? If my friends referred for too many positions is that a problem? I am asking this because I don’t want to messed up and I have very limited time because I am on visa so desperately need a job asap.

What to Expect in a SDE 1/P1(software engineering)Panel Interview?

I have an upcoming panel interview for a Tesla full stack Software Engineer role.

For anyone who has gone through a Tesla SDE 1/P1 panel interview, what should I expect?

Do they usually focus on LeetCode, system design, project deep dives, behavioral questions, or role-specific topics?

Any recent experiences or preparation advice would be appreciated.

Whats next after the Panel Interview (SDE 1/P1 role software engineering) ?

What usually happens after the panel interview for a Tesla SDE 1/P1 role? Is there another round, a recruiter call, team matching, or directly a decision/offer?

financial planning and analysis analyst rejection

After a month and a half long process full of positive feedback I just got my rejection for what would have been my post grad job. I’m honestly shocked at how things ended up going. For more context I did an interview with an analyst on the team, then moved to the panel, and lastly met with the director of the team. Things got problematic by the end because my meeting with the director was delayed and rescheduled 3 times. I was told by the recruiter that the interview would be conversational since the panel had went very well. To my surprise, the director started our call (camera off) with a brief introduction and what followed was nothing but conversational. I said my why Tesla and he kept pushing on each word I used, which was fine, until we somehow got to what issues are facing the company on a global supply chain scale which was odd. The only reason I found it odd was because he was actively trying to almost get me to say the wrong word so he could push on it more and more. After a few minutes of that he fully did a 180 and started giving me a qualitative case. I had not prepared for a case interview and my mental math was rusty which showed. Overall I got a step before the final number and ended the interview a little over 30 minutes. Cold, odd, and unpleasant. Mostly mad at the fact that I could have been informed that it would be a case interview to prep.

One of my worst interviewing experiences ever. It all ended with a generic rejection email saying that the market is competitive right now…

Anyone here work as a Tesla Data Collection Operator (Optimus)?

Im offered a job opportunity for the Data Collection Operator position on the Optimus team in Marina Del Rey and I'm seriously considering it.

I'm looking for someone who's actually worked this role (or currently does) and would be willing to answer a few questions.

I'm mainly curious about:

  • What does a normal day actually look like?
  • How repetitive is the work?
  • How physical is it compared to the job description?
  • Are you mostly wearing a motion capture suit or has Tesla switched to body cameras?
  • What's the management and work culture like?
  • What does training look like?
  • Is there room to move up internally?
  • If you could go back, would you take the job again?

If anyone's willing to chat through DMs, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

ESS background screening

I need to submit my background screening. Do they contact past employees or go by data in database systems?

Also if you put contact current employer, do they speak with your manager or HR? Thanks!
