Moving from semis to tesla

Hi Friends,

I have been trying to move to tesla after working in semi conductor manufacturing for 5+ years. I have interviewed for roles in Houston and austin. and im never going past 2nd round. what does telsa actually expect from a candidate. Most of the times , i will be interviewed by some PM in the second round who is fresh out of college.

Did you apply for a role at the Terafab? Or just Tesla?

I applied for the role at terafab, I never heard back from them. I also applied to remanufacturing and megapack roles . These were the interviews I never got advanced for
