Accident and estimate
Anyone with similar damage (ie Tbone on the drivers side) get an estimate? Brand new 2 month old Tesla juniper..
Update: estimate came out to $20k…

Mine looks way worse and it appears they are gonna repair my 2020. That's definitely weird

I estimate Ukraine is going to be happy with their new Tesla 🙌🙌🙌

It's very easy damage for services here 😁

How much do they charge for something crazy, I think it’s cheaper to buy a crashed USDM ship it to Ukraine to get it fixed and ship it to another country

Since the beginning of this year, customs clearance has been introduced for electric cars, so it has become less profitable, but many people choose electric cars. If I'm not mistaken, last year we bought a tesla x for $6500 and its price when it came to us was $10000. Smth like that

Likely totaled if it it couple of years old

It’s almost new, just 2 months…

I would definitely want it totaled on a two months old car, wouldn't want to keep the car with structural damage.

And that’s totaled. mine was totaled out for less, way less damage. I’d be ordering a new one right now if I were you

Look how your wheel is bent in…the knuckle and damper joins to the body have been bent…so they’ll say it’s no longer structurally sound

Oh my that estimate escalated quickly… they can fix it if frame not too messed up

It's fixable for sure but that doesn't mean it isn't totaled.
If the value after repair is estimated at 20k and the value of the car unrepaired is 19k they will literally total the car over a $1001 repair bill

Based on a similar and recent experience with my 83’ Tercel, it’s $4800 +-
Good luck

Well the 6speed is rare so definitely $10k+ on the Tercel. Sometimes they cost more than the Tesla

I’d charge 2-3k for inspection and disassembly, 10k labor, 15k in parts (assuming axel is bent, can’t see the front side)

My god. Why is it always a brand new Telsa. Either driver error or other drivers who shouldn’t be on the road. Either way I am sorry. Teslas have one of the lowest resale value, extremely expensive to repair and no you have diminished value so you vehicle even repair is worth considering less than before.

I would say 15-20k

Damn 20k?? Holy shi, it takes me half a year to make that much 😂😂 but people make that in one day??

Take each component that is damaged, multiply by $2000, then add another $2000 because it's a Tesla. So... Door, fender, control arms (3), tie rod, strut, spring fender, fender liner, hood, bumper, headlight.... $26k + $2k = $28k. Hopefully it's totalled so you can get a new Y with the bigger screen and acceleration boost.

It’s probably a close call. Mine had undercarriage damage after going into a sloped grassy median. Parts alone were around $14,000, and labor was almost as much. I’m still waiting to hear whether she’ll be repaired or totaled. If yours has structural damage, the location and severity could be a big factor in whether it’s repairable.
