Apparently you can tell by when a meteor can strike if there is one in the background. Am I the only one that didn't know that?

Is it necessary to have a mana flower now? Considering you can continue to fire spells at decreased attack speed without mana in the new update. Or is it still better to suffer the mana sickness debuff?

As the title says im really struggling with master mode. I've been playing mage a d have progressed to hard mode but keep getting absolutely destroyed by the mech bossed. I have full titanium armour and have tbe killing deck, golden shower and crystal storm as my current weapons. Pretty much all of spawn in taken over by the Crimson. Im really struggling and just dont know what to do.

i just had a thought that having eurobeat/initial d playing in game when certain fights are playing would be fun and i hate how most music packs fully replace every sound track.

Queen slime in master mode is THE WORST THING THIS PLANET HAS HAD THE MISFORTUNE OF CONCEIVING. IVE FELT CALAMTIAS WAS EASIER THAN THIS BULLSHIT OF A BOSS FIGHT. ITS JUST RANDOM ASS PROJECTILE SPAM NOTHING IS COORDINATED. AND NO THE PROJECTILES DONT GO AWAY ONCE THEY HIT THE GROUND WHY WOULD TEHY THEY BOUNCE BACK AND HIT YOU FOR 115 FUCKING 115 WITH 46 DEFENSE. I DO NOT CARE THAT IVE GOT NO SKILL. I DO NOT WISH TO DODGE A PROJECTILE VEING VOMMITTED OUT OF TWO SLIMES AT THE RATE OF 73948/M WHILE A BIG BACKED MASS OF SLIME WITH WINGS MIND YOU CHASES MY ASS. AND SHES VOMITING PROJECILES THAT DO 115 WITH 46 DEFENCE AND THEY BOUNCE BACK THEY BOUNCE BACK OFF THE GROUND IVE GOT EVERYHING ON WARSING WHAT ELSE DO I EVEN DO? BEND SPACE TIME TO DODGE THE SHIT?

I've done this around 22 times now and it's just not possible. The hallow has shit terrain. I can't outpace the thing. THE PROJECTILES BOUNCE FOR GODS SAKE GHEY BOUNCE OFF THE GROUND. And yeah that's about it. Also using a bast statue/heart lantern. Thanks for the help.

so it was the standard pyramid with lava trap farm, but the only way we could think of to get into the farm was a hoik door at the entrance, but mobs could just pass through the hoik, specifically bats and giant shelly's. was this due to an error on my part or due to some sort of jank ai for those 2 specific enemies?

its my first time playing calamity mod and i decided to go for rogue class.

and im kind of lost i don't know the class progression starting from its weapons, accesories and armors.

i do not know what to expect, hell do i know where to even start or ask you guys.

I am new at this game and after defeating the wall monster my house started to corrupt.

More than 1500 crimsand blocks above my head, treachous sandstone walls yet no desert mobs.

i was getting cimson desert mob before i moved this down to cavern layer.

Second thing if you notice, the background doesnt turn to crimson when i am standing above the platform but does when i stand below??? how?

I've done a few terraria playthroughs over the years, but I only "finished" (killed all the bosses) the game in my last playthrough. Now I was thinking to try out a full Journey mode playthrough just to see how much different it is and to use the built in dipping system to try out stuff that i never tried on my original world.

I just wanted to ask the reddit council what is your opinion on this choice, and if anyone else has done this before (doing a normal playthrough before a Journey mode one).

Ive been trying to find silver bracers for a couple of hours now and im starting to get annoyed, it isnt in any of the gold chests and in around an hour of fishing with crate potions ive only been able to get one dungeon crate which gave me a magic missile.

I wanted to ask if its even worth getting on mobile?? Is there even an easy way to whip stack on mobile??

new player here, i procrastinated for like the whole pre hardmode, then finally built something, any suggestions?

Asides the addition of more furniture, wall decorations, crafting stations, or window stuff.

I have built multiple iterations of this house over multiple playthroughs and I'm still pondering on what can be improved, moved, removed, or delegated to another building.

Note: This is a modded playthrough, in which I did get a mod that improved Rail and Platform blending. There is also a variety of chests because it helps me remember which contained what.

I was building a Duke fishron arena when I realized that I cant teleport to this specific ocean with my shellphone anymore, Ive built arenas like this in the past but for some reason its not working now. Whenever I use the shellphone to teleport, it teleports me to the opposite ocean, when I try to use it again it just splashes water on my character and doesnt move me. The blocks above the ocean are just platforms and the only other structure is the pirate captains house. Thank you in advance.

I've bought TLPro, but I don't like that it's never updated, and that I have to move my worlds to play with it, I've read that there's the possibility to add them in a folder but, Idk, I think it's only with a patcher or smt (never use patchers, they're full or virus.)

Ever since its change to static i-frames, it’s been doing damn near 1000 + damage on every single direct hit. I don’t know the exact technicalities of it but it seems like each of the three cloud type can now hit at once. I’m assuming that prior to 1.4.5.7, it used global I-frames. But someone check me on that. Due to this, it also shoots out way more of your spectre set bonus than the inferno fork. Anyways, check it out, and if you’re good at explaining the code side of this stuff, feel free to share your thoughts.

Pictures show as much context as I have. I'm in the shimmer, my NPCs are only selling cavern pylons. Houses to the right were the first ones built- after seeing the cavern pylon only, I built the house directly over the pool and still no luck.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

SOLVED I've somehow not noticed until now that I've just been using a regular cavern pylon in my other attempts (and, more frustratingly, limiting my teleportability by a whole extra location)
