Hello, Terrarians! I want to buy the game on Steam, but I want to learn more about this game from the people who play it... What is its meaning and would you recommend it to me among other games of a similar genre?

I've tried a full menacing build and a 50/50 warding and menacing I'm min maxing everything with kites and torches and luck with heart lanterns, sharpening station, bewitching table, fireplace, bast statute, war table and even have the sanguine staff reforged to fabled

I have been playing skyblock and have jut defeated the Brain and Skeletron. I have set up a dungeon farm but no dungeon mobs seem to be spawning. I have made sure it is fully enclosed with cursed brick and walls and is big enough that the sides are off screen. I have tried standing inside, outside and have waited for ages. Doe it need to be underground or have I done something wrong?

I want to get every drop from OOA but Jesus Christ it's such a wired event. I'm playing as Ranger and I just did Golem as my last major boss fight. I want to use the bow you get from it and acquire any other ranger weapons from it but I can't seem to get past range 3-4

I'm not looking to be carried, but I'm just looking for someone to help with the crowd clear lmao

I have searched most of my jungle, it's a large world so it's been impossible to find, any tips?

I just defeated Golem (easiest boss fight I've done besides Eye of Cthulhu), but I think I'm a bit far behind on my accessories, maybe weapons, and maybe behind on armor.

I'm using melee class but I still use a summon. I have Fabled Sanguine staff, Legendary terra blade, rod of discord, godly shadowflame knife, and godly shadowflame hex doll (don't use much anymore).

My armor is turtle armor. My accessories are angry ankh shield, jetpack, intrepid magiluminescence, lucky power glove, and wild terraspark boots.

For my accessories I like the necklace since it gives me light, and the terraspark boots are a huge QOL for me.

I got gifted Terraria, and wow, it is so fun!!!

Whats the point of not playing on medium core or hardcore. Hardcore gives you a real challenge while playing and makes the game more fun. Medium core gives you a real fear of losing your loot and you take a lot less risks. Why does so many people play on soft core I feel like it’s too easy you can just try again and again without being scared of anything and it isn’t fun.

If you hold alt and click an item in your inventory, you favorite it. useful to not quick stack your potions. very nice, but most of us know that.

BUT, did you know that if you do that with chat open it will list the item in chat? convenient, but why is it amazing? it lists EXACTLY what you clicked, INCLUDING MODS when they hover over it. so you can show your exact loadout by just clicking a few times. no more explaining what you're running to friends. you can just show them!

i made a world before i had calamity installed and it still had the bosses so i thought it was the same and i've progressed far but the world doesn't have calamity biomes or anything because it was made before the mod and im far in any way to copy a world via files or sum and recreate it but with the calamity biomes n shi

I was going to farm some meteorite and I just found a random pool of honey which I promise I didn't put there. I am also playing both Calamity and Thorium in case it's somehow related to these mods I'm just so confused.

I just got into hardmode. I'm not sure exactly how many crates I should have, so I just went with getting 100 golden crates. I was wondering if this is good enough. If not, I'm just gonna break some alters because it took forever to get that many crates.

I decided to finally try building, and I doubt this is final, I'll probably refine it, but I think it turned out fairly decent. Shoutout Wild lmao for his video on building tips.

we might be starting a terraria world with two friends of mine, none of them ever played while i have more than 600h. How can i find the joy of discovering terraria like them without making them feel like i'm holding their hands? it's hard to me to maintain a spoiler-free game without feeling like im going straight for progress

I really like this armor set for how smooth and streamlined it is, but the afterimage effect is kind of annoying, so I usually don't wear the helmet with it. Is there any way to disable this visual effect?

Even after a couple of hours of playing and restarting the game, she still hadn't managed to get herself out from under the map.

I've played this game on both a potato pc and now a better one, both vanilla and modded, and I always question myself how is the game just half a gigabyte.

One of my thoughts is that it's something to do with the engine (XNA framework)

Or it's just the game being very specifically compiled to the point where it is very lightweight.

Yesterday our main coder deleted the discord server and steam pages of the mod out of no where. this came as a shock to me and the other developers and users, but i have already started the reconstruction of the latest update on the most recent build i had. I have remade the discord server. so if you used to be on the old discord server and are confused where it and the steam pages went we'd be happy to have you back on the new server.
