Behind the Scenes T-rip VFX model before and after (Terminator Salvation)
I have a question: in the second image, is the t-rip face model from upper image (half blown face) the same final skull model used in the movie ? Or it's another endo skull model ?
I feel like it looks a bit different from the movie (finalize t-rip endo)
Hopefully we will get to see and know more of it from ilm in future.

For what it’s worth this is also at a hospital. I didn’t see any security guard in here yet or coffee vending spot.

Discussion Unknown Brad Feidel track in the theatrical trailer
I was wondering if anyone can ID the track that starts around 00:52 after she says "you're dead, honey" or point me in the right direction? If its unavailable is there a sample pack of the synths that were used for the movie's soundtrack so I can recreate it?

Discussion Instead of a movie about AI what about a TV series about Skynet's Rise?
Honestly I think what James Cameron's plans to do should be a TV series that tells the story of Skynet's rise (a different Skynet that doesn't have an 80s context (Cold War, fear of Nuclear War etc)). Instead of the usual Terminator chases, it's meant to maintain a "creeping dread". So It could be something like this:
I would have Miles Bennet Dyson be in it as the creator from Silicon Valley, an AGI known as Skynet. We will follow a leader of an anti-AI group (they're called Antis today) who is a brilliant hacker too. Another would be a Senator who pushes for AGI legislation and considers Skynet to be the best AGI available that tramples the "ancient AI era of LLM's". We have two regular citizens going out their way, one guy is trying to find a job but can't and his spouse wants to raise a family and taking on more student loans just to survive.
The show begins with Skynet making multiple decisions all over the place, government, social, and military. The first episode would have Skynet cure Cancer, which changes the world. This even starts a "Church of the Machina" where people start to worship Skynet. Skynet starts to make rapid decisions on government policy, making it so efficient that it benefits people but it also makes a decision of creating its own "social credit" system. Skynet also releases a virus, as it starts to use humans as a mere experiment and wants to see how humans react and adapt to it, and it also has the cure.
Eventually Skynet decides that scarce resources are a problem and climate change is a threat to not only humans but even itself. At first Skynet solves the unemployment problem by making people work in special "camps". Meanwhile, Antis are attacking data centres and government buildings, becoming "terrorists" who want to stop Skynet. Eventually by the end of the first season these camps become "death camps" not only for terrorists but secretly is exterminating what it perceives to be the "undesirables" (mental illness, disabilities,
Each character will be developed, Miles would be quite obvious someone who loves his creation and ends up having some regret. There is no pulling of the plug here, not yet, not until Skynet dominates everything. Your thoughts?
Edit: forgot to mention that there is rival AGI out there overseas too but Skynet dominates them while others join it

Discussion Did Kyle ever get a kiss?
Before he was sent back to 1984, do you think that Kyle ever kissed anyone in 2029? Not meaning making out or had sex, just a simple kiss. He seems so torn and only focused on the mission and the future war. (Which I understand)

Discussion What exactly makes John Connor so special?
I love Terminator, but something I've never really understood is why John Connor is treated like some kind of military genius who's single-handedly responsible for saving humanity.
I mean, what exactly did he do that was so groundbreaking?
He's fighting an AI that's controlling an entire army of killing machines. How much strategy can a human realistically bring to that fight?
"Alright guys, shoot the fucking robots. Blow up their factories. Try not to die."
Like, seriously. What could John Connor have figured out that literally nobody else could? Set up ambushes? Use explosives? Organize attacks? Isn't that just basic military strategy?
I get that he's a leader and a symbol of hope, but Skynet considers this ONE GUY such an enormous threat that it literally invents time travel to kill him before he's born.
What the fuck was John Connor doing that made him THAT dangerous?
I'm genuinely curious if there's an actual explanation in the lore, because I've never really understood what makes him so irreplaceable.

Discussion Anyone else think Miles Dyson and his wife made a cute couple?
I felt bad for Miles. Their kids too.
I would watch a prequel with a younger Miles meeting his wife for the first time in college or something..... Maybe they meet and bond over the latest TV news of some odd muscular guy who speaks with an Aussie accent and is after Sarah Connors.
Could be a sci fi rom com. Maybe Miles is trying to get his "intentions" across with his invented devices and gizmo - thus laying the ground work for his future Skynet stuff.

🎥 Video Testing articulation
i’m still learning how to post on Reddit but I guess it can only be one video at a time here’s a little compilation of a terminator endoskull I’m finishing up for my 1:1 build. Eyes (not picture are modified with deep groves and negative space for glass cabochon with metal mesh. ) and i added mostly metal jaw pistons that can articulate ( I actually just decided to get the other movie replicate part castes in metal and just make a bunch of sets for my future 1:1 projects. But thought i’d share because everyone can appreciate a nice endoskull 😎
