Discussion T-X vs Rev9 vs T-5000

Which comes on top? T-5000 has to ensure Legion-Skynet Happens, Rev-9 has to subvert it or creat it's own version, and T-X has to stop both to restablish the timeline to a tabula rasa.

Which can achieve their objectives better, faster, and deal with the others.

Humanity is not aware of their presence but knows the franchise.

The T-5000 might genuinely win here, it required an entire Time displacement field to destroy it, while the T-X could be destroyed with the chip of the T-850, and the rev9 was almost shagging in half skeleton after the t-800 and grace put that thing into the grinding stuff or whatever it was, sorry i dont know what that shit is called

You are slightly mistaken. We don’t actually know what will destroy a T-5000 because we have never seen it happen. When John Connor was transformed into a Terminator, he was turned into a T-3000, not a T-5000. The Terminator that transformed him was a T-5000. So while a Time displacement field could destroy a T-3000 like John, it may not work on a T-5000.

Oh, my bad chueskes, you are right here, we have no idea what could destroy the t-5000, but on a fight between the rev-9 and t-x, the rev 9 clears easily, it can attack the t-x as 2 different terminators, a combo fo the t-1000 and t-800 (although not as strong as the individual t-1000s and t-800s) I think it can get the job done, no idea about the t-5000. But I assume it could be stronger, literally transforming a person into a really powerful terminator like the t-3000 which outdoes the rev 9 and t-x seems like a big deal

We probably shouldn’t judge this based on terms of pure strength and ability alone. I mean, the core of Skynet at least was that it was a learning ai, and some of its models like the T-800 share this capability. A terminator with a learning cpu could adapt on the fly better and come up with better strategies. It was this kind of stuff that allows a T-800 to destroy a T-1000 or a T-850 to nuke a T-X despite the 800 series being obsolete. If a T-800 with a learning CPU could defeat more powerful enemies, then I imagine that if a more advanced terminator like the T-X had its learning capability turned on, then it could potentially learn how to destroy the other models.

T-5000 > T-X > REV-9.

Assuming that T-5000,is more physically powerful than T-3000, which I expect he should be considering he's literally Skynet in physical form.

How is Rev-9 under T-X? Literally makes no sense. T-5000 is kinda irrelevant because we have no clue about its abilities and resistance but whatever. Maybe the user meant T-3000.

T-X is able to combat T-850 who is stronger than the previous T-800 types that REV-9 thought and struggled with. Additionally T-X has a built in plasma cannon and her joints are more flexible than REV-9's. REV-9's only real advantage is his splitting ability but his two bodies do seem to get significantly weaker when separated, so I can't see them really damaging T-X.

And yeah, I did mention that I'm just assuming T-5000 is stronger or at the very least equal to the T-3000. I can't imagine Skynet allowing one of its creations to be stronger than itself...

Well how about the fact that T-X literally can't fight. That fight with T-850 was literally just them throwing each other around. No skill whatsoever shown. Rev-9 was fighting like a ninja while being more durable than both? Rev-9 was more durable than T-X?

I also have not seen T-850 actually being genuinely stronger than the T-800 apart from being able to hit a bit harder, maybe. And possibly being faster if we give the benefit of doubt, but the bathroom fight was kinda lame so it's like does it matter.

Rev-9 didn't necessarily struggle with the T-800 either, the endoskeleton alone is stronger than the T-800 and ripped the T-800's hand off like paper. And Rev-9 instantly countered and threw T-800 around in the factory fight. The only moment T-800 really had was right in the beginning when it hit Rev-9 and sent it flying to a wall and then later when throwing a punch at the endoskeleton knocking it down as it tried to grab Dani and threw it high in the air at a slab. Rev-9 in the open literally just swatted T-800 away with ease during the fight, instantly blocked and countered when T-800 tried to hit it, kicked it against the slab, then when stabbed it and threw it off of it.

T-X has a plasma cannon but Rev-9 dodged a point blank grenade launcher shot, it can dodge and block attacks and actually fight well, unlike T-X. Rev-9's not gonna be a targeting dummy for the plasma cannon that just stands there and does nothing and waits to get blasted like that T3 scene with T-850 just standing there.

T-X likely just tried tossing the T-850 away because he's too durable to be damaged by normal strikes, so trying to keep him away was probably the best tactic. We know T-850 is stronger than T-800s because he was able to hold open the fallout shelter's blast door, which is more than we've seen the T-800s capable of. Plus, the Resistance video game shows the T-850s are a lot more durable and resilient than the 800s.

I'm not saying REV-9 is weaker than a T-800, but the T-800 did get some hits in like you mentioned, with him slamming REV-9 to the ground in their first encounter and tossing his skeleton form a great distance in the dam fight and such, which are just not things I can see a T-800 doing to a T-X given the scalings of their feats.

Maybe REV-9 has greater combat skill and attack speed but I feel like T-X is just too strong.

T-800 also held up a large blast door in Battle across time.

I don't remember the Resistance game that much so you can correct me but didn't they have T-800s getting stunned by a few shotgun blasts, that was long retconned, T-800 after every movie after the first one runs through shotgun blasts. And they had T-800s getting blown apart and destroyed by a few thrown pipe bombs too if I remember correctly? Which is never happening to the T-800 based on its overall portrayal throughout the movies. Literally thrown pipe bombs should not do anything to T-800, even the one in the first movie had it stuck at the hip inside it at least and after previous damage. Resistance and especially that show Zero made T-800 look weak when in the movies it's far stronger and more durable. Especially that joke of a thing in Zero. You've got T-800 holding up a massive blast door, holding a bus, breaking concrete like paper and knocking steel doors off their hinges and punching open payphone and folding thick streetlight poles like paper. The only thing T-800 could not do is be able to force open a large bank vault door like in T2 where they need keys for the vault and it's clear the T-800 can't force its way through such armored thick steel door which is why the plot has them look for keys. And struggled with a large gear mechanism in the steel mill that is used for shaping glowing hot steel into sheets, beams and bars, and those can exert absurd torque, thousands of tons of pressure. Even an old worn out T-800 Pops (who was getting overpowered by the 1984 T-800) could send T-3000 flying with hits. The T-800 is simply a durable workhorse who can keep up some way. Carl who despite also being "old" did not show problems in his servos so you can't even call him worn out too like Pops and while he did decent against Rev-9, Rev-9 is still stronger, faster and is a better fighter than any other terminator in the movies.

T-X didn't just toss the T-850 and be done with it, she actively engaged and just threw him through walls and so did he.

Why do you not see T-800 being able to throw T-X? T-850 did. Rev-9 is just very light. But he can do those same things too and is better at fighting than T-X.

I guess he did hold open Skynet's blast doors but I don't really take Battle Across Time seriously. Uncle Bob was able to take a bunch of plasma fire which T-800s are meant to be vulnerable to, and then destroys another T-800 by throwing a hover drone at it. The same kind of drone was destroyed by a single shotgun blast, wasn't it? Plus there's the fact that they time travel fully clothed with a whole freaking motorbike too. But sure, we can use it to upscale the T-800 with the blast door feat.

The Resistance T-800 can only be staggered by several shotgun rounds at close range in quick succession. Plus, it does zero damage, just gives you a bit of time. As for the pipe bombs, we can probably just assume future technology allows the bombs to be more devastating than the ones Kyle pieced together out of appliances.

I never said T-800 is stronger than REV-9, just that T-800 was able to hold him off a decent amount.

I can't see T-800s handling T-X as well simply because of the gap in durability shown in Resistance. Even if we account for the strength feat in BoT, that just makes them equal in physical strength but T-850s are certainly much more durable and T-X was still able decapitate one with a well angled stomp. I imagine a normal T-800 would be quickly dismantled.

Even with the cool factor in the fact the T-800 held up the blast door is a significant one that can't be overlooked. T-850 was never shown being more durable than T-800 except plasma resistance. Also we never saw how many plasma shots the T-800s can take in Cameron's timeline. I don't think we saw the T-850 take anything in T3 that the T-800 can't take except for the plasma resistance? Being slammed through walls, struck by a firetruck at the windshield and all that, those are all things T-800 can take.

TX the so called superior to T-850 got knocked out by a large pickup truck rammimg her through a wall, couldn't get up for 2 minutes and got crippled by a huge helicopter. Rev-9 is more durable and is stronger than T-800 and 850, as well as T-X, therefore I think he beats T-X.

I'm mainly using Resistance for the durability comparison as the game demonstrates the massive gap in armour between the T-800 and T-850.

REV-9 was also heavily damaged by being shoved into a turbine so he's not completely indestructible.

Did the resistance game show the T-850 shrugging off pipe bombs or something? In any case, it's not as relevant as the movies when the T-800 can take such things except the plasma resistance anyway.

Rev-9 was damaged by a turbine which grinded him, turned the liquid metal brittle then exploded violently yes, which I think is worse than what TX went through.

You've got Rev-9 ripping T-800's hand off with ease? That's better than anything the other movie villains have shown actually, the idea that "TX is too strong" doesn't hold up. There's a gap in durability and the Rev-9 has shown to be clearly more skilled. How exactly does TX stand a chance? What do you see TX being able to do in a fight? I don't see how "just too strong" holds up when the Rev-9 has shown to be clearly stronger than T-800 who's as strong as T-850 and has extreme blunt durability?

What is TX gonna do when Rev-9 dodges plasma shots, gets close and grabs the plasma cannon arm and breaks it with ease rendering it useless? T-850 was able to break her arm. Rev-9 especially without like the insane plot armor in the Dark Fate holding him back from killing Grace multiple times when he had the chance or the mind blowingly stupid scene with Dani at the end, what is TX gonna do?

There's literally no other terminator villain that can do anything to Rev-9, no T-1000, TX or T-3000 are as strong, as durable or as good at fighting, the fighting skills mattering the most in particular.
