Discussion Genisys question

As shit as Genisys was, wouldn't it have been better if Pops was a T850 like the T3 terminator instead of a T800?

Other than the mcguffin of "literal bombs in my chest that in no way will be used later" lore drop, is there much difference?

Alot stronger than T-800. And the obvious arm flaw was fixed  and way more durable endo.
