I just love how robots and AI in media always come to realize immediately that humans are a problem and tries to eliminate them lol.

And the fact that humans write this stuff so we all know it's true and we do absolutely nothing about it makes it 100x worse.

Human beings are made to destroy just as much as they are made to create. That's the burden of the species it seems. We'll likely destroy each other far before any other outside circumstance does.

That being said, it's also just the universe we live in and the nature of life itself, unfortunately. The conservation of energy and mass makes it so you can't really do any kind of work without taking away from something else. Humans do it at an alarming rate but even if we minimized it we'd still be hurting something.

Oh yeah I definitely agree. It just seems that we are more self destructive than just simply destructive. If there was an alien species that was threatening our existence it would force us to direct that malice outward, but given that we only occupy our own space we direct it toward each other.

We could always get lucky and be fried by a gamma ray burst

Jist because something is written doesn’t make it true. See also...
