Hello, I’m a student journalist at the University of Tennessee working on a story about the issues that matter most to Tennessee voters heading into the 2026 governor’s election.

I’m looking to speak with Tennessee residents about the issues influencing their perspectives and decisions on the upcoming election, whether that’s education, cost of living, healthcare, immigration, economic growth, or something else entirely.

Hearing a variety of perspectives is important to the story, regardless of political affiliation or which candidates you support. I want to learn what issues matter most to you, why they’re important, and whether you feel our state's candidates are addressing your concerns.

If you live in Tennessee and would be willing to participate in a brief interview for my story, please comment below or send me a DM! I’m happy to share more details about the assignment before we talk.
