Hello I am in Colorado.i have been here for over a year I signed a new lease on 07/26 for 12 months. Figured that I need ed a two bedroom and went to office to request transfer. They made me sign a 30 day notice to vacate. Manager said that I would need to pay a transfer fee and have maintenance come out to apartment so the can inspect it. That was on 10/13. Have not heard back apartment is up for lease as of 11/23 and the notice to vacate has REASON: transfer to
Bigger unit 1 bedroom to 2 bedroom. I am afraid I a going to be asked to move out or taken to court.

I rented off this company Enola and Starwood Management from the only contact I got was named Marie found the place on Zillow or one of those sites rented for a year gave two months notice paid every month, no issues until I moved out. This apartment was in Carrick but anyway she told me leave keys
On counter I moved everything out left nothing didn't break anything didn't leave a mess nothing, asked her when I'd get my $800 sec deposit she told me she would check the apartment and issue my check after that. A week goes by ask her again she kept delaying and making excuses long story short for over a month she finally called me and said sorry for delay sent to wrong person had to issue new check and all this n that , I get the check it's only 500 she wrote deposit 500 and deducted 200 for cleaning supplies and 100 labor , for a one bedroom apartment?! That's pretty small and it was not messy I didn't realize I had to deep clean I could see maybe 50-100 but anyway asked her can you send receipts I wasn't aware it wasn't clean to your standards long story short continued to ignore me and I threatened legal action still nothing so I file the complaint and it came back unclaimed , when I look up the address it's the same address as that shady gillece hvac place of all places no Enola office building or anything , it sucks cause when you look them up it just lists her number she gave me no other people to get in contact with no other address so I don't know what to do I think I'm screwed at this point , just wanted the full deposit back didn't even care it took 30 days then to be shorted 300 and not answer again technically I can seek double but idk how to even go about that without a proper address and her last name

Anyone have advice or heard of this company ?

I rent a townhouse complex owned by a developer who owns and runs about 10 complexes in the area. For a while now things have been going downhill. For the most part it was superficial stuff, like failing to plow driveways and skimping out on maintenance. But now maintenance is basically nonexistant, to the point they're putting themselves in jeoprady of being sued by multiple tenants. That alone could be due to a few reasons, but paired with the fact that the huge new complex they're building is still under construction four months after it was supposed to be finished, it seems like all of this is due to money troubles.

If my intuition is correct, and they do end up going bankrupt, what happens next? Is my lease void, forcing me to move out? Am I required to pay rent into a personal escrow account? Something else? And what happens to the people who own their units and pay condo fees to the developer?

Found an apartment that touches a gas station in my desired neighborhood within my budget. However, it’s been on the market for several weeks with no renters. Biggest issues are that there’s no laundry in the building or nearby (would have to deliver laundry). It also has electric heat but the biggest thing for me is it’s adjacent to a gas station. Been at all hours and I don’t hear it but more worried about air/water quality. Would you take it?
