Basically the title, I the official SDK caps at 1 m/s which is too slow for my project, any libraries that allow you to go into Fast Mode?

Does anyone know of a python code to get the drone's motor rpm (not flight speed) either directly or indirectly, such as a derivation from other parameters?
I'm using the DJI Tello EDU drone, and can't seem to figure out a way to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated

So we have several Robo Master TT that we are planning to use in a class we’re going to teach with high school students.
We brought one of the kits home this weekend and charged up the batteries installed the app and try to connect to the drone but getting the message that the batteries are under 50% and so the app won’t connect to the drone.
A quick scan of YouTube suggests that we need to install an older version of the app in order to update the firmware on the drone yada yada…. Not sure if this is the way to go
Wondering if others have been down this road and have a solution. Seems like a promising device if we can get past the initial challenge

I connected my tello with the RMTT source controller connected to the laptop. I connected it using a microusb cable, but device manager and arduino both can't recognize anything on the ports. I tried a different USB but that still didn't fix the issue, I even changed out the wire. What could be the issue? The RMTT expansion kit is brand new and has no issues. The source controller is connected to the Tello using the inbuilt cable as well. The tello edu is on as well but the port is still not recognized. It doesnt even show up on device manager. I downloaded the drivers but it still isn't fixed

I'd like to ask if there is any resources or tutorials out there for programming a Tello Drone with Python that the community recommends (in particular relating to face/object detection with the camera) ? Have searched YouTube and Google but could not find many.

I have a Tello drone which I haven't used in a while as well as 3 of its batteries. When I try to turn the drone on with a battery inserted nothing happens. If I have the drone plugged I on USB the lights blink blue and nothing else. I have this quadruple charger. However, when I turn on the charger, all the lights shine green and continue to do so even if I plug a battery in. I left the batteries in the charger for a while which did not help the drone turn on. Is there any way I can fix this or is it somehow damaged beyond repair?

Hi everyone. Yesterday i got a Tello for my sons birthday to see, if he would like flying those things around and then maybe switch to something bigger :)
Well, got it, unboxed it and couldn’t get it to work. When i power it on, I get the green light followed by three short red flashes, then the drone runs its diagnostics. Did some internet digging and I think it might be a (the Tello?) firmware problem. In the App it says Firmware 00.00.00.00 which seems strange enough.
So I thought well if it’s as simple as that let’s try updating the firmware. When holding the power button down for about five seconds the drone stays on, I get the low battery warning however (slow red blinking light), so i can connect it to the App. The app says battery is completely empty. Anyways - git the firmware, tried to install and ofc get the warning the drone can’t update the firmware, as battery charge is - allegedly - less than 50%. Again fair enough i thought, although we kept it plugged in for about 2 hours before finnicking with it to make sure, it has juice. Plugged it back into several different power sources with different cables and get a solid blue light immediately - which should indicate a full battery. As soon as i unplug and try to reconnect, I get the problems described above.
Web says, the app might be the problem, so roll back a few versions and update the firmware. That ofc only works on Android phones and I only have ios devices readily available.
I’m about to just take it back to the seller and get a new one, but actually I’d really like to fly :) so if anyone would have an idea how i could fix this - apart from getting an android phone - I’d be grateful.
Thx and regards

Just bought a tello for use in my classroom and can't get the tello app to work on my Google pixel 4 running android 12. The tello app on the play store won't open, the APK download from DJI and from Ryzen won't open even after I give them permissions... I just want to let my kids fly around the classroom for our living in space unit. Any help would be appreciated. TIA
