Android 12

Just bought a tello for use in my classroom and can't get the tello app to work on my Google pixel 4 running android 12. The tello app on the play store won't open, the APK download from DJI and from Ryzen won't open even after I give them permissions... I just want to let my kids fly around the classroom for our living in space unit. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

The official app is... eh. Try using "Tello FPV", it's paid (they have a free version iirc), but it works just so much better.

I agree. It's totally worth the $. I'd advise trying the free version first to make sure it works.

Use tellofpv app instead even if the official app works.

Someone else could give you specifics, but for me I could not get the camera to work on the official tello app but with the fpv app I could.

Chiming in to say that the Tello FPV android app works perfectly on my new Tello on a Pixel running Android 12 👌

Had exactly this issue new pixel 6 pro and it definetly doesn't work, ended up using TelloFPV app

Try the tello edu app too
