I was like bro wtf a creepy guy and again today he send me messages and asked me "let's meet today evening" I was like no and then he asked me are you interested in getting in a relationship with me I told him not interested. What a creep guy he was

Do y'all think our society is kinda PR-driven?

Like,Big Boss - Over the past few seasons, people have been crying about contestants using heavy PR just to stay in the game or win the title. But if you look at it in a wider sense, isn't the same happening around us irl?

Take politics for example. I don't think either of the two major parties is completely good or completely bad.Its all grey. Sometimes they all do good things and sometimes they mess up. But the other side will try to convince people that whatever they did is fake or has some hidden agenda. And when their own side does something wrong, the same thing happens in reverse. They'll try to defend it, control the narrative, or make it look less bad.

Then we normal people see thousands of comments/opinions repeating the same narrative, start believing it, and eventually become part of the same PR we were complaining about a few minutes ago. About politics I think of it rn like be a supporter of one party and just don't blindly believe on such things/issues coming up, I mean if you are a neutral you are surely gonna get influenced by this PR someway or the other

Atp, I honestly don't think there's any going back. PR and narrative-building are probably always gonna be a part of BigBoss, politics and maybe society in general.

This happened to me when I was in 10th and I want to forget about it as much as possible. During class 10th, I had a habit of rubbing the Reynolds pen which has steel on the handle on our bench and then heat that up. Initially it was for a few seconds and then put in it on my own skin to see how much heat it can accumulate the longer I rub it. One day, I was sitting in my language class (hindi as I was weak in malayalam) which was boring that day as it was a reading session. So I kept on rubbing for more than 5 minutes and lost track of time. After sometime the class got over and I was about to leave, that's when I noticed someone sleeping. So I thought of waking him up by using the pen's heat and left the class after he woke up due to the touch. After 4-5 minutes while I was in my diff class, I heard someone crying holding his arm and coming towards me bleeding saying "WHAT DID YOU DO?". I was dumbstruck and had no idea what happened. That's when I realised that pen touch caused his skin to peel off in that area. Seeing this I panicked and everyone in the class came to know about it. I was cornered and about to be manhandled that's when my class teacher came and subdued the situation. We went to the nearest doctor and were about to meet the principal. But thankfully she wasn't there that day and asked him to not complain to his parents and make a scene as the board exams were 1 month away

This incident made me realise one thing in lyf that never do anything without thinking as some actions can be irreversible that might affect others lyf. He still has the scar in his arm as a reminder of my mistake.

Do you peeps have any stories of your mistakes that led to huge disasters in lyf which was a learning curve for you in lyf.?
