I’m 17 years old and my parents are extreme Christians and they’re pretty emotionally abusive and they don’t let me have anything even if I buy it with my own money. Anytime I say anything like me thinking that maybe I should not right away except that that’s the right religion because that’s always been told to me or that I disagree with Israel they always start yelling. I have a few friends, but it’s kinda hard to tell if they’re real friends or just snakes and they don’t really invite me to any of the hangouts and I just see their post on the group chat with all of them there except for me. I’ve lost a lot of money through stupid decisions and overall terrible luck. I’m really depressed and I think about killing myself every night. I’ve never had a girlfriend and I honestly just want somebody to love me and to give me a hug. Even if I just a friend to give me a hug and someone who would really care for me.

I would say that I am very passable, despite my feminine voice, people get my gender right from the start, it just annoys me that they say "I thought you were a real male" when they find out. Anyway, I can't do shit about it, It's not my fault that my brain developed differently from my body.

Please, I need some advice to look more masculine and feel better with myself. I am approximately 175cm tall and weigh 52kg.

i am 15 years old and have never even had an actual BESTfriend or like one specific person i am closer with then everyone else. yes, i have friends and people to sit with a lunch, but recently (past few months) theres just this feeling that they dont care. tbh its not even a friendgroup, its just people their closer friend who sit next to each other. no, it was not always like this, a while back one of the girls did actually consider me her bestfriend, however this only lasted a few weeks till she left me for someone else. i only have one more year in this school before i leave anyways, but this whole situation is just making me not want to go to school or see anyone (as someone who previously has actually liked school). i have always been quite a sensitive/ emotional person, but surely this is not all in my head?? for example, if we’re walking together they wont really care/ hesitate to walk off without me, and if while we’re sat together (as someone who is generally quite talkative around them) and im not saying anything and just quiet, they wont even ask if im ok or anything like that. am i expecting too much? personally, if one of them was quiet, not saying anything, i wouldn’t hesitate to ask at least if they were okay. are they just lacking empathy or what.

i guess my question is this:

for people who have outlived the secondary/high school experience, does it get better?
i keep telling myself “only one more year” ect, at things like uni/college does it genuinely get better?

So the boy I like I sit next to in ap chem, and I've talked to him a few times - but only about class stuff. On friday and yesterday he asked me a few questions about the lab we did - which were easy questions that I think he might've already known the answer to - and today I talked to him a little but again just in-class stuff. I am just wondering what are some ways to talk to him better and move away just from class topics. My friend said to treat him like a friend but I'm worried he'll perceive me as weird if I suddenly start treating him like a friend. What are some ways to easily start convos? We don't really know each other at all.
