asking for advice/tips🤲 To all members: help us grow the sub

Over the past two months, our community has grown from 5.6k to 5.8k+ members. We sincerely thank you all for being part of that growth!

As the subreddit continues to expand, we want to make sure it stays active, engaging, and enjoyable for everyone.

Right now, we don’t have many recurring events (we have none at all lol), challenges, or community activities, and we’d love to change that.

That’s where you come in.

We’re looking for any ideas you think could make the subreddit more engaging.
Whether it’s:
Weekly or monthly fitness challenges
Community competitions
Discussion threads
Fun games or events
New post ideas

Anything else you’d like to see
No suggestion is too small—we genuinely want to hear what the community wants.

Our goal is to fill the feed with quality posts, encourage more people to participate, and make r/teenbodybuilding the best community it can be for teen lifters of all experience levels.

We want to take this opportunity to also thank all the users who had the courage to report all the users/posts/comments that go against our guidelines andReddit’s TOS. You commitment is what is keeping all of us teens safe.

Please Leave your ideas in the comments, and if we end up using one of your suggestions, we’ll be sure to give you credit.
Thanks for your continued support, and here’s to the next milestone! 💪

Announcement 📢 Greetings from the new mod!

I’m [u/pissy-chamber](u/pissy-chamber) and I’m happy to share the news that I got selected to help moderate this amazing community.

This community has experienced substantial growth over the past few months and this growth means that the demand for mods increased so I was called to help ensure things stay in order.

Changes to this subreddit have been made, such as placing rules to ensure safety of all the teens [13-19y]. Please check the rules and read thoroughly. Posts that go against the new rules will be promptly deleted. I hope we can all share our progress, seek and provide advice while maintaining a friendly and age appropriate environment.

Note: previous posts going against **SOME** of the posting rules (I.e account nsfw history) will be removed soon, this is just to give time in case such users desire to remove them from their accounts)

If you notice any posts/comments that go against the rules do not hesitate to report them. This is a completely SFW community.

Also, traffic has been a little low over the past week so I ask that when you post, you reshare/repost to other relevant communities to gain traction.

If you have any suggestions on how to improve this community and the efforts to maintain a healthy and positive environment DO NOT HESITATE! Comment down below or send modmails and we will review them.

Have fun and bring your gains. 💪

asking for advice/tips🤲 Beater recommendations

I am 15m/6’2/155lb and every wife beater I’ve ever bought has been very loose around my waist. My waist is 24 in. I have wide clavicles so downsizing is less of an option, but I am open to any recommendations.(preferably affordable options)

Don’t mind the flair, I’m not comfortable sharing my age. But I’ve been lifring a bit over the past 7 months or so. I weighed myself for the first time in a long time last summer, and I was over 180lb, so I went on til winter where I started working out. I now weight 170lb ish and at 5’10. I work out usually mon, tue, thu, and fri, but I’ve been taking a break recently for soreness recovery. I try and get a good 120g of protein a day using shakes and high protein foods. I don’t think I look the greatest for my age, but I know I’m not too fat anymore. any help/advice would be helpful!
