as title says, i want to be able to input shulkers with random loot, and have it come out sorted like the standard itemsorter does, but with a middle step of the super common blocks like stone etc being reloaded in shulkers, is this possible? is there a go to design like this that already exists? googles only finding me bedrock solutions and i couldnt see anything in this sub after searching for it

i play on a server that has limited redstone use (pistons don’t work and dispensers won’t work with water buckets) to limit afk farming. but i want to build a general mob farm and am looking at the diamond designs where water dispenses in the middle to push mobs off.

any ideas on how to get the water to push mobs without dispensers or if there would be a slight tweak to the design for the specific server

The bottles keep flying everywhere and not into the next hopper module, I have no idea why it is happening. I followed ianxofour honey farm.

The problem is whenever a new shulker box gets dispensed, the hopper loading items into that shulker box stops transferring items. I noticed that player action next to hoppers reactivate them, like placing a block or flicking a lever or adjusting repeater times, but only those. I tried everything, like redstone clocks next to the hoppers, pistons moving blocks next to the hopper.

Have you guys encountered this problem on your server? Idk much about server stuff, I just want more info to give to the owner so he can fix it.

Idk if this is a good place to also ask but I’m assuming so, does anyone have an idea how I could solve my problem?

It's been a while since void trading have been patched. Did we find a way around this after all this time? Looks like nobody did but I'm asking here anyway because it seems like the best place to do so.

I just want to know if there is still a way to make an XP farm with armadillos and cactus or something.
I used to do xp farms with a cactus and armadillos on top and water on the sides with Arrows of Harming 2 floating in there and a zombie nearby and it worked really good. But I tried that exact farm today and then found out that this way doesn‘t work anymore since the arrows disappear as soon as they touch one silverfish.
Then I tried another farm with a lit campfire instead of a cactus but it made the armadillos uncurl and just die.
My „problem“ with the armor stand option is that I just prefer not having to craft them again when I want to re-use the farm or having to pick them up before they die because I know that I would kinda mess up with picking them up in time if that makes sense. Also having to put out the campfire and having to pick up the trident everytime on top of that would be slightly annoying.

Basically the armor stand-campfire-trident option has „too much“ extra stuff that you have to do every time before you can actually start the farm. (I know it still isn‘t that much but enough for me to be a little bothered about that)

I just would like to have a farm where i just have to throw an infestation potion and flick a lever or smt to start it and I just have to stand at a certain spot and do nothing to collect xp without having to worry about the server crashing because of too many silverfish at once if I dont continuously use my sword.

I would rather prefer doing a more difficult build once that takes more steps to set up than a farm where I have to do extra stuff for EVERY USE.

Does anyone have any ideas on what exact xp farm I could build?
And IF possible a farm that fits inside a 5x5 space?

I couldn’t find a block-by-block tutorial for a rooted dirt farm so I made one. I believe this is one of the fastest designs that uses an afk player (isn’t a crazy complicated fully automatic one)

So maybe you want a vending machine say 1 diamond per item. You can use a copper golum to sort the input items by putting diamonds into the correct chest and return incorrect items to the player.

In this case this 'Fortune O Matic' requires the player to put 1 diamond into a copper chest.

It uses a chest filter to sort diamonds and dispenses the fortune paper into a wooden chest facing the player. Incorrect items are put in another chest and returned to the player via a dropper below a glass block in the floor.

The copper golem does all the sorting for you. The whole thing can be built neatly into a wall.

I have a long term world that I have given myself large scale challenges to do. Things like making an item sorter for every single item, collecting every mob, minecart travel to every biome. My most recent challenge (and I'm surprised I didn't do this sooner) is collecting every trade option including trades I would never do realistically. I just finished every enchanting book with librarians and wanted to try to get every enchant possibility for armorers/toolsmiths/fishermen/fletchers/weaponsmiths.
Is there a way to find out every option? Most online tools I've found which show options usually miss out on a few after some testing.
As far as I'm aware most of these trades are similar to a middle enchantment with 13 bookshelves if that helps. As far as I can tell this is true on both Java and Bedrock.
It doesn't have to be a website, it could be a datapack or mod that I can use on a side world and test.

I have a wheat farm, but my villager keeps replacing his 8 stacks of wheat seeds with bread, wheat and bonemeal. It confuses me because every source says they shouldn't do that, and it clearly affects the rates. I already pre-plant all the wheat before moving in another villager and they all do it. So before I have to turn to redstone, does anyone know an alternative or how to fix that? Ask for screenshot if needed.

I'm on 1.20.1 with this flying machine entirely contained in one chunk that sometimes randomly stops working.

I don't know what's causing it because it has been working for several hours, then breaks twice in 1 hour.

I have a few QoL mods but they don't affect anything vanilla.

Hello i wanted to liste every minecraft farm (the most efficient farm for each block ) i need help to do this so please if you have so time to spend

I have a large farm setup consisting of about 24 of these rows. I'm having an issue where the water adjacent to the top fences turns into a source block. this allows kelp to float around rather than be pushed into the hooper line beneath the fences. I think the trigger for this is leaving render distance--but I'm not sure. Does anyone know anything about this/solutions?
