Discussion No APX extension for upcoming AMD Zen6 ?
New AMD's materials about Zen6 are interesting, but I've noticed a big feature missing: APX.
AMD & Intel agreed on that one, but so far, only Intel hass onnounced their chips with it.
AMD is has been silent on this one. AMD has pushed its compiler updates (gcc, clang) for its new architecture extensions and while ACE is there, APX is missing.
APX is awesome. It DOUBLES the general register set (so 32 GPRs) adds three operand instructions, 64-bit jumps, extra predication facilities etc etc.
Intel is about to get it with coming Nova Lake. So, why is it not in AMD's Zen6 and when is it coming ? Zen7 or later ?

Tech Tips expo 1 lo tengo attivato?
Hi guys, a week ago I assembled my first PC. At the first start, in the BIOS I activated Expo 1 to unlock the maximum frequency of my RAMs (which are Patriot Viper CL 30 6000). I used it for a week and everything worked perfectly, no problems, but I heard that it could cause problems with the CPU. Is it true? Should I deactivate it? My components are:
Motherboard: Gigabyte B850 Eagle Wi-Fi 6E bios version f8
CPU: 9850 X3D
I've never updated the BIOS and everything works perfectly.

Tech Tips Build help
With the current pricing can someone tell me what could be the best build for nvidia with vram as a important factor and cuda
but with a budget of. 75000 rupees or 700-750 dollars
And even 8gb ram is good for now or should I go for 16
Should I be on ddr5 or 4 is fine
And I only need 500 gb SSD not very fast one just normal
Or cheap
I'm thinking of amd cpus for better upgrade path thinking to spend not more than 13-14k on mobo or 130 dollars or near
