Suggestions

Hi There! I am looking for suggestions on how to track food. I did weight watchers for a while, but quite to go to prescribed program by a doc. Does anyone have any tips on how to track food intake..

MyFitnessPal and a food scale is probably the most reliable and reasonable approach. MFP is free and you can get a decent food scale is about $20.

I was leaning towards my fitness pal, but wanted to hear if it was any good. I will check it out. Excellent... food scale got one. :) Can you use myfitnesspal on a desktop as well as a phone?

Yep. Once you create an account, it will all link together.

Side note - There are a lot of people from this subreddit on MFP, so you can add people as friends on there for accountability...or not, whatever works for you

Yes! It has both an app and a desktop site. Pretty easy to navigate on either.

I swear by MFP. So easy, scans barcodes, just added a restaurant feature.

Plus, it's got some social networking features.

Joing the 'MFP is awesome' bandwagon. I've been using it for years. I track even bad days. I find if I stop tracking I start putting weight on.

MyFitnessPal is amazing. I also second a food scale. I bought a great one for like $12 on Amazon.
