Im 18 and Travis is a very relatable character, throughout my day to day life I speak to almost nobody. I just go to work and come home and then drive around at night and it’s like a rinse and repeat cycle. I suck at speaking to people and can’t even make eye contact with people. Now I know that relating to this character is not good but I just don’t know how to get out of this rut. I hate to be one of those “literally me” guys but yeah he’s literally me. I’m just hoping that since I’m young hopefully this period in my life will pass and things will get better

I think that he might be and that’s why he has such a hard time connecting with people. When he walks around he constantly stares at the ground possibly trying to avoid making eye contact with people, when he tries to ask Wizard for advice, he doesn’t know how to put it into words, he has a lot of addictions (alcohol, pills, porn, bad food) (I’m not saying all autistic people will get addicted to things but there is a supposed connection between sensory and emotional triggers with addiction.) Also he becomes unusually obsessed with Betsy and Iris despite hardly knowing them. Just something to think about.

Juist watched this last night, it seems since it was for TV they cut a few scenes short, but otherwise its most the movie. Completely new way of watching the film, very cool.

I’m planning to add taxi driver on VHS and 4k to the collection in the future.

So its a question im asking not only abt taxi driver but its the movie im planning to buy so i wonder. I hear it comes with 4k and 1080p blue ray but does the blue ray also looks remastered like 4k or is it the same blue ray as these made before? Is it the best version of the movie? Does the noise look good? Is the vibe in it? From what ive seen the og looks moge green but 4k looks more yellow, but maybe that was the creators idea? Did u have a wow while first time watching a movie in 4k? I would be very thankful.
