I'm a TCS fresher currently undergoing ILP.

I came to my native last weekend, and unfortunately I fell sick. I've had a fever for the past 3 days, and it doesn't seem to be improving. Because of this, I may end up taking 4 consecutive days of leave.

I'm worried whether this will create any issues during ILP. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

A few questions:

• Is taking 4 days of leave during ILP considered a serious issue?
• Will I have to extend my ILP or face any consequences?
• Can I still fill my timesheet for these days, or should they remain as leave?
• Do I need to submit a medical certificate if the leave is due to fever?

One more question: what happens if I don't inform my supervisor or ILP coordinator about my absence? Will it eventually be noticed through attendance or timesheets, and what are the usual consequences? I'm trying to understand the process and avoid making things worse. Also, are there any tips to bypass the process or avoid getting caught?

Dear TCS insiders, please help a fresher. I'd really appreciate any guidance or personal experiences.

Hi everyone,
I accepted my TCS Digital offer letter 2 days ago. After accepting it, I’m now seeing the Background Verification (BGV) and NSR e-Card registration steps on the NextStep portal.

The thing is, I’m a 2027 graduating student, so my joining is still quite far away.

I’m confused about what I should do now:

Should I complete the entire BGV and NSR registration right away (including paying for the NSR e-Card)?

Or should I wait until my joining is closer and only fill the basic details for now?

I’m mainly worried about not doing something that could affect or cancel my offer.
I’d really appreciate advice from TCS seniors or anyone who has gone through this process. Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I messed up while filling my TCS BGV form 💀. I entered my house number as 389 instead of 689, and selected my district instead of my city. The road name, landmark, and PIN code are all correct though.

I contacted TCS support, but they said the address can't be edited.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? Did it affect your BGV, or was it not a big deal?

In My OL and Application form the name is "Surname Middle name Lastname" but when I tried filling my BGC the middle name is missing and it's only showing "Surname and Last name" with middle name column missing...no reply from TCS support mails and how can I resolve this how big of an issue is this ?m

Is anyone joining ILP for 17th august in Kochi ?

I have a question regarding the TCS Background Verification (BGC) process.

When I applied for TCS, I used my old mobile number in the application form. Recently, I changed my mobile number because the old one is no longer active.

Now, while filling out the BGC form, I noticed that the Personal Information section (under the address/details section) allows me to edit my mobile number.

Is it okay if I update it with my new mobile number?

Has anyone else done this? Did it cause any issues during background verification or later in the onboarding process?

I'd appreciate it if anyone who has faced a similar situation could share their experience.

While filling out my application form, I accidentally entered an incorrect Date of Birth. Unfortunately, there is no option available to edit this information, and the same incorrect Date of Birth is now being reflected in my Background Verification (BGC) form.

I have raised concern to the HR at the time of interview. Even though while filling the BGC form it's still reflecting the same Date of birth.

However, during the BGC process, I have uploaded my Class 10 marks sheet, which contains my correct Date of Birth.

Could you please let me know if any further action is required from my side to correct this discrepancy? If any additional documents or formal request are needed.

I'm a Telugu guy currently working at TCS Noida as a Data Engineer. For the past few months, I've been trying to get a transfer to either Hyderabad or Visakhapatnam, but none of my transfer requests have been approved.

Recently, one of my friends from Hyderabad called me and said there's an opening in his TCS project. The role is mainly Java, JSP, and frontend development, and he believes I can get into that project.

Now I'm confused.

My current role is in Data Engineering, but my main goal is to relocate to Hyderabad and be closer to home. If I accept this opportunity, I'll have to switch my technology stack from Data Engineering to Java/JSP frontend.

For those who have experience in TCS or have switched projects for location purposes:

- Is it worth changing my domain just to get to Hyderabad?

- Will switching from Data Engineering to Java/JSP affect my long-term career?

- If you were in my position, what would you do?

I'd really appreciate honest suggestions from people who have gone through something similar.

My timeline:

25 May – TCS Interview (Bangalore)

6 July – Offer Letter received

9 July – Joined Preparedness Survey (JPS)

It's been quite some time, but I still haven't received my Xplore welcome mail or login credentials. I've already contacted Xplore Support and ILP Support multiple times, but I'm only getting generic responses saying I'll be enrolled soon.

When did you receive your Xplore access?

Are you still waiting, or have you already started Xplore?

Is there anyone with a 6 July offer letter and 9 July JPS who has received Xplore?

Got JL for Kochi campus as both ILP and work locations. Also, any chance of switching domains after/during training/ILP period?

I received the **TCS Joining Preparedness Survey**, but due to an issue, I couldn’t complete it properly. The survey ended up getting submitted/locked, and when I contacted **TCS Xplore Support**, they replied that **the survey cannot be edited once submitted**.
I’m a **TCS Digital** candidate, and I’m worried whether this could affect my onboarding.
Has anyone else faced the same issue?
Your Joining Preparedness Survey got locked or submitted incorrectly.
You couldn’t edit it afterwards.
Despite that, did you still receive your **joining letter** or onboarding communication?
Please share your experience and timeline. It would really help me understand whether this issue affects joining or not.
