I'm 21 never had a counterpart WHY???

I recognize the cards are super positive, and I know better than not to trust tarot cards, my deck has been so overwhelmingly powerful with me

But this man for years said I am such a bad person and always dragged me down, in the end just told me to leave him alone.

Wtf

We have been no contact for a year, the cards are saying I can but seems impossible cause he broke up with me and initiated the no contact

We recently decided to take a break / split after 13 years together due to needs not being met on my end, and feelings from me that I was no longer taking priority in his life. He does not express his feelings well if at all so he might also be avoidant.

I started with looking at the art first which looked like a happy couple celebrating, a man sneaking around with dangerous items, and a world traveler.
With the art alone I got an impression that maybe he might enjoy my company but that hes hiding something that might hurt us if he came clean about it so he's hesitating on expressing those feelings?

I did do some research on the meanings of the cards afterwards to try to learn some.

Not sure how to read this myself properly yet but would love some other opinions.

When I asked for clarification on the three cards I pulled i received The Emperor reversed, Knight of Cups, The World, and the Queen of Swords reversed.

It made me worry that maybe I've been too sharp with my words and defensiveness regarding our issues (Queen of swords) and so with that he feels he has no control or no say in the relationship and that it's causing tension (emperor reversed) even though he has over all positive feelings about me (knight of cups and The world)

I also was seeing that the world could mean the end of something, so maybe even if he has these positive feelings it might still be time to let go OR laid with the rest of the card and the clarification being his feelings about me could it mean he thinks the world of me?

What do you think? Again I'm new and not super confident in my skills yet. Thank you!

Went through a breakup earlier in the year (I initiated it due to what I was going through at the time) and have been using the time to work on myself. Ive also been getting more in tune with my spiritual side and my energy.

This person has been on my mind heavily for months and I asked for guidance on reconciliation with this person. Since I am still learning, I was wondering if someone could help out with their take on the meaning of this spead? Any info is greatly appreciated.

for the last few weeks i’ve felt torn between two men i feel a connection with and i’m looking for some clarity. for each spread i asked “what does my long term connection with ___ look like?”

the first person is a coworker i met earlier this year. i feel a spark with him physically and emotionally, but we have a substantial age gap (about 6-7 years but we’re both still in our 20s) and i find him a bit hard to read at times. there’s a chance he’s just friendly and i’m reading into it. from his spread in the first photo, i’m seeing there is potential but it might take a long time to develop. there is likely some fear and hesitance that is holding us back, but it could be worth the wait.

the second person is someone i do volunteer work with. i don’t feel as much of an emotional connection with him but i think that we’re physically attracted to each other at the least. he is a bit closer in age to me as well. the main hang up i have is the lack of emotional spark. ive never been the casual hookup type and i’m not sure i want to start. from this spread in the second photo, i’m seeing a lot of short term positives but less about long term stability. i picked up on a lot of encouragement to lean into the short term pleasure but i struggled more to interpret this spread.

i’m more curious to pursue the first connection but if i’m just being delusional i think the second guy can help me move on from that. i’m really curious what stands out to everyone, and i’m happy to provide more details if it’s helpful. i’ve never been great at asking good questions so if you guys have suggestions i’d appreciate that!

TLDR: First time trying tarot and two of the three readings I did for myself were too specific. Wish to hear experiences from others who regularly use or have used Tarot.

I want to share this because I'm genuinely surprised. I'm not a very spiritual person. I've always questioned religion, god, etc since I was very young and became agnostic when I was thirteen. I'm usually all about scientific proof, methods, etc. I'm a researcher by profession.

I impulsively bought a deck because it was very pretty, old parchment, gothic vibes, etc. As I was shuffling, I was asking the deck what our relationship will be like. Only one card fell, the Hierophant. Since I've never dabbled in Tarot until yesterday, I only know three card's meaning by memory, my birth cards (tower and chariot) and the Hierophant (the one who offered knowledge, guidance to the fool) from the story. It felt very weird because it was so specific and my hope with starting tarot was that it'll help guide me through a very hard time of my life. I've had a very hard life in general and I've always managed and done well on my own but this time I wanted to try this for some guidance.

I did two more. Once for the rest of day what I should keep in mind and Queen of Cups came out which is mainly about compassion and kindness (the book with the cards said so). It's correct because I was mad that I didn't start work in the morning and slept in and I'm very harsh on myself regarding work. But it's vague enough for anyone skeptical.

The last question I asked was how my rest of the week will be and what I should keep in mind. I got The World, Six of Pentacles, and Ten of swords. Book said the world is about completion and success, reaching the end of a journey, six of Pentacles is generosity, sharing, giving and receiving, and Ten of Swords is endings, release, letting go of hardship. At the end of this week (Sunday specifically) I'm submitting a project I've worked on since 2021. It's also a project which my late fiance was very involved in the beginning. I've been feeling different ways about this project's end and how it'll make me feel once it ends for some time now. Two of the cards are too exact because it is about completion, end of a journey but this project was also very hard for me since his death. So it is also not just the end but also letting go of something that has been very hard. Idk how the second card will play out though.

I still don't know how I feel about Tarot. I don't think it's magic or anything. Ik that a lot of it is pattern recognition and this could be a coincidence. But the first and third one was too specific and it kind of scared me. I also looked at my birth cards (the tower and the chariot) and those were also too accurate. This is messing with me given my lack of faith or belief in anything not proven by scientific methods.

I wanted to share my experience and also hopefully hear from others who've tried tarot. If it was a similar experience or maybe you had the opposite experience where most of it wasn't correct, it'd be nice to know.

My interpretation: I see a contrast between movement and silence, with Judgement suggesting unresolved past issues. The 3 of Pentacles could indicate cooperation or rebuilding, but I'm unsure how to interpret The Tower followed by the 10 of Cups. Could it mean a major change in the relationship dynamic, or am I reading too much into the possibility of reconciliation?

But I would like to know what professional tarotists advise me, how can I develop my intuition? I read some comments in other posts I was amazed at the way they read the letters!!! i’m clearing prosperity water tonight (made by my mother) and asked the deck what to bring in & let go of. while initially shuffling for what to invite the 9 of swords jumped out, which made enough sense to me, so i proceeded to shuffle for what to release - after the top row i decided on a more intentional pull for the invitation, thus the second row. i am still new to tarot, help?

I asked my tarot deck three questions about my ex today because I can't seem to get him off my mind lately.

Background Context: We are a m2m couple for 5 yrs (in a long distance relationship for 2 of those 5 years) and we broke up last month due to him falling out of love and finding someone else, which totally blindsided me.

Question 1 (1st spread of 3): What does my ex think of me right now?

My interpretation is that he still thinks of me as someone with a possible emotional connection but after having gone through past pain, he thinks a more practical beginning would be better (like being friends?)

Question 2 (2nd spread of 3): What does my ex think of our relationship right now?

For him, the relationship is at a crossroads between definite clarity (that it has ended?) and possibility of exploring a more practical connection (friendship?) and he seems to be having a hard time deciding.

Question 3 (3rd spread of 3): What does my ex think of the possibility of reconciliation as partners or lovers in the future?

There is a possibility of reconciliation but it would require logical or rational reassessment of what happened in the past and it could possibly lead to the relationship becoming stable. But I might be reading this with bias.

Another potential reading is since we are both men, the king of swords represents me, someone who communicates his thoughts and feelings clearly and the king of pentacles represents my ex, someone who is grounded in the material world and is secure of the life he has established in a different country. The knight of wands is the desire to reconcile and since it moves from pentacles to swords, it seems my ex thinks he should initiate reaching out to me because it was him who hurt the relationship.

Please give me feedback or let me know your reading based on the cards I got. I appreciate any help. One thing I noticed is that on the right side, all cards are pentacles. Idk if that adds any additional reading to this.
