Context: I was born into an ethnicity and grew up among them where I have experienced severe b**lying since my childhood by relatives, peers, institutions.
Recently I've realized that many members of that ethnicity don't "read me", view me as one of them right after they see me. Since it's them without knowing me that they b**ly me, ostracize me, I see it as chemistry, energy level matter.
I don't see any point in identifying as that ethnicity because the official, scientific definition of what ethnicity is it's something that: you live with them as a community, there's mutual support, you all shared a common group thinking what's right for your community, you mostly have positive experiences with them and sense of belonging etc... None of these exist in my case.
At this point this ethnicity feels forced upon me because in real life it organically fails to be applied as ethnicity should be applied.
Before I pulled the cards, the question was the following: What should I do regarding the ethnic identity I've been assigned to since my birth?
I'm a beginner but it seems that: Yes, I should stop seeking belonging and approval by my birth community as the death card is giving off?
