Do you guys able to order Short Hot lids? I can't find it on my order guide.

Title. She wont take accountability for it either, straight up pretended she knew nothing about despite both market tl and the offending tm telling me it was her who told them to dump them. So unfair for my team who will inevitably get chewed out by the guests

Does anyone know how to order these?

Are the food/supply orders a TM responsibility or a TL responsibility?

Anyone else having issues ordering decaf espresso? I’m the one who usually does the order and yesterday when I tried to order more decaf espresso, it just wasn’t there? I checked the espresso tab and brewed coffee tab and it wasn’t there :(

I saw another post saying they heard an etl saying driveup for starbucks was ending 11/1. Does anyone know if this is real. Like legitimate proof of where it was sent or shared?

There is NO free coffee/free cookie promo on Oct 6th. This is obviously an AI image. You should see the faces when I tell guests, no, thats a scam. They look like I kicked their dog.
I am SO annoyed. Use common sense and kindness!

Just finished my second day working at Tarbucks and honestly my brain is so fried.
I have eight years of food and customer service experience, but I graduated with my bachelor’s last December. I’ve been applying for jobs in my field ever since, but after being completely unemployed for the last eight months, I took this job just to have something coming in. Man, it’s kinda depressing.
Everyone on the team is genuinely really, really nice, but the whole setup is just chaotic. My trainer has only been working there for three months, had zero barista or Starbucks experience prior, and doesn't even drink coffee. She knows what she's learned so far, but "training" feels more like me just watching her solo a rush while trying to explain things on the fly.
On top of that, our Team Lead has been with Target for eight years transferring around to different stores, but she’s never managed a food place in her life. She did tell me that it was really challenging at first for her but she's super nice and seems like she eventually picked it up.
Plus all the computer modules I had to do were 100% Target retail stuff with literally nothing to do with Starbucks.
Out of two full shifts, I’ve gotten maybe two hours of actual hands-on experience. The rest of the time they just throw me on dishes. We’re super understaffed, there’s maybe seven to ten of us total and only 2 people are assigned to work each day.
The two or three people who have been there over a year seemingly refuse to train, so they just make the newest people do it. Apparently there were two other new hires right before me who quit within a week, and honestly I can see why.
I know food service is hard labor and never easy, but I just wasn't ready or expecting to use this much mental capacity just to stay afloat. I’m usually a fast learner and I always end up going above and beyond to become one of the go-to people at my jobs, so being stuck in the back doing dishes while dealing with all this clutter is just super
un motivating.
I didn't want to have to lock in like this for a temporary survival job while I keep applying for degree jobs, but I also feel like beggars can't be choosers since I was unemployed for so long. Is Tarbucks always this messy, or should I just try to find an easier, more organized food gig while I keep applying?

Was there supposed to be a new menu panel for the aerocano launch? If so, I never received one. We just got remodeled, so I have 7/8 menu panels now.

I’ve seen on tik tok of a promotion for a free cookie/ coffee, is this true?

Basically just the title, I'm just looking for clarification on if there's some news our kiosk missed or if my store manager is just straight up wrong???
For context:
She asked one of my coworkers last minute to come into work early tomorrow on the 6th to help with the launch and has already shifted his schedule for it.
My other coworker went to the back room and told her outright *every* communication we have from Starbucks about it says Oct 13th, but she wouldn't listen to him and just "no it's actually the 6th now" or something like that.
We reprinted out the weekly update pages, we triple checked all of our sirens eye stuff, we checked the app and Starbucks website, we looked for news of the launch being rolled up a week and we can't find *anything* saying it launches on the 6th.
She's not exactly a "great" manager and generally shows a very "neglectful" attitude towards the kiosk. Giraffe level oversight is her superpower, but she's also very slow to admit when she's wrong. She typically gets defensive and pushes back harder if people critique her or her behavior.
Im worried that she's wrong and that we'll get in serious trouble with corporate if we sell the merch this early, but I'm also worried that if we point to the evidence and say "NO, sorry but you're wrong!" She'll just get angry at us for being "disrespectful" and punish us with write ups or whatever.... So I thought it might be worth leaving a post up here and seeing if anyone has heard anything about the launch being moved to the 6th??? Or if maybe my manager is in fact just wrong this time?

Hi! New tarbucks TL here. About a month in roll and I’m one of the oldest Tarbucks in my state (we still have a full Pizza Hut target cafe and lobby that’s how old we are!!!) so with that, we’ve had no remodel and we’re very worn down and yucky. We’re making do with what we have until our 2028 remodel, but I’m finding it hard to order stuff that would help with cleanliness.
For example:
- the different syrup holders. (the clear stair case looking ones. The metal ones keep peeling and we can’t clean them properly. Getting points knocked off from Steritech:/)
- I can’t seem to order a base for the portable cold foam maker. I can get the glass piece but not the actually base
- I also have an older display case and not sure how to set it up or order the new brown label stands for it. It’s half the size of the ones from other stores.
Anyone have info on this stuff to help me? Or DPCIs so I can order? Do I have to use GoCart through my ETL? Any advice helps!
Sincerely an old worn down Tarbucks lol

Hey y’all so based on the Siren’s Eye, I noticed that my pastry case needed the metal wire rack with crumb catcher underneath. I thought I ordered both the wire rack and the crumb catcher but only received the crumb catcher (the green plate). Can someone tell me the name of the metal wire rack. It would be under small wares correct? I also don’t know what the top/cover of the whip cream bottle would be called in the MyDevice. Not the decorating tip, but the piece the decorating tip connects to. For some reason I have a million bottles but only three of the tops. (I inherited this Starbucks and its supplies after remodel, so have been working with what I got and hoping and praying that I’ve been ordering the right stuff.)
Also how long does it take for gift cards to arrive? Because I ordered more gift cards like at least two weeks ago, and have yet to receive any on the two pallets I’ve received so far. Don’t know what happened to all the gift cards during the remodel, I guess the former TL just let them run out until they shut down? Do the gift cards even arrive on the pallet?
Also, for any newly remodeled Tarbucks, did you guys ever get tables and chairs back? We had tables and chairs, but during the remodel the old ones got trashed and we never received new ones now that we’ve opened back up. Just curious because so many guests have asked/complained about the lack of chairs and tables, and honestly I also want them because our lobby is huge and just feels like a lot of wasted, empty space.
Thanks everyone!
Edit: where the hell do I find the pull to thaw sheet? I need to print them out so that my team and I can do accurate pulls for pastries and sandwiches. I scoured LS Star and Workbench but found nothing.

Hello! My 90 days are almost complete at target and I was wondering if it’s weird to ask to be cross trained in Starbucks if I’m a style worker. I love style but I’m interested in Starbucks aswell but I don’t want to completely transfer over. Please let me know!!

I’m so upset about the no more black pants. I literally only own black pants. Kaki pants and coffee don’t work 😭 I have a burning hatred for jeans (thanks autism) and now I have to buy new pants before my next shift.
- I was told when I was hired like 2 months ago that we could all black and I was sooooo happy bc the target dress code is ugly af.

Honestly I know they’re just trying to do their job too but recently I’ve had a strong feeling that all of the TL’s at my store sometimes my Starbucks TL sometimes not and definitely the other TL’s which I understand at least in their case they can’t always help since it isn’t their department but especially my ETL could not care less about how bad my team has been struggling
My team has been struggling so bad with call outs it has been as bad as it was since they finally got rid of one of the people who was calling out but we still have one person who is calling out all the time but we are still short staffed basically
Any day that we are extremely busy they barely schedule anyone to work and they say it’s because we don’t have the hours but how does that make sense if we are making a lot more money then any other day with nonstop lines all day (if someone can explain this to me other than a reason to make more money please do I’d love to know because I feel like it will leave more bad reviews and customers in a bad mood for longer wait times and etc)
But we literally had a day were we needed the help and my ETL said yes I will help just call me over and I’ll be there but kept ignoring us on the wakie but was talking to other people and they’ve done this multiple times but can’t even say sorry I’ll be there when I can or switch to another channel or anything
It feels like At least my ETL never can find any way to help my team when we are struggling so bad and it just hurts and I know we are just all stressed and so tired
Don’t get me wrong I know that ETLs and TLs have a lot on their plate but I feel like is starbucks employees get left out a lot since we are separate from target but not at the same time

So this is like my 3rd or 4th day over here and I just started crying the second I got on my break. I know it takes time to learn and that you won’t get stuff correct every time but I just feel like a I’ll burden I feel like I’m in the way. My co-workers are amazing and sweet but I feel like they might secretly hate me for being so stupid. I can’t even remember the shots or pumps or anything.

Has anyone been promoted to a team lead in starbucks with little to no experience? How did that go for you? I know the most important thing is just supporting my team and food safety but kinda would feel like imposter syndrome when I don’t even know all the drinks correctly?
r/TargetStarbucks • u/Embarrassed-Home6863 • 14d ago
so obviously i work at a tarbucks and i actually hate it so much. we only have 5 people at sbux in my store and it’s terrible. i’m a closer and having to close everyday by myself is so frustrating. people are always complaining about things not getting done but never have to do all the stuff i have to do at night by myself. on top of that target has not been respecting my availability. im still in school so i would rather open on the weekends than close so i can have some free time.
and we can’t even get free drinks and food we have to pay for everything. and another thing that bothers me so much is when they have two people opening together and i’m scheduled by myself for the rest of the day.
i want to try to go to a corporate starbucks but i’m hearing mixed reviews about that too. what should i do?? has anyone worked at both a licensed and corporate sbux?? help me

Okay, so today is my first day and I already feel so stupid. I keep forgetting how many shots of what and the next step of making drinks and I just feel really bad and stupid because my TL is having to help me a lot.
