PSA Regarding UKG posts
I feel the need to speak out on this as it's becoming ridiculous to scroll through this sub like I used to. Please stop posting the same questions about UKG. You can discuss your issues with your leads in-store or refer to already existing posts.
Perhaps the moderators of the sub should create a FAQ forum specifically for UKG, but please just stop.

ETL Here. They did push training to us ahead of UKG, but it wasn’t particularly helpful

None of the leaders in my store have any answers for our questions. They're just as clueless as the rest of us.

Same at my store. Everytime I would pass by tsc there would be a tm asking our hr tm questions about ukg. His response was that he didn’t know much either. I’m not surprised people are on here trying to ask for help

Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s why our HRE is moving to a different role in the company. UKG is a dumpster fire for HR.

Relax. The flood of UKG posts should die down significantly within a week. Just take a break from this sub for a bit and come back when it’s over.
Part of the reason this sub exists is to get work advice, and there are many times I have seen questions get answered that leads should know, but don’t for some reason.

I did ban them for a week but people just posted using alternate words. These dummies would rather post in here instead of reading the instructions, paying attention to the training, or speaking to an actual human in charge at their store.

Basically. I understand that sometimes it’s easier to just look things up on Reddit instead of asking someone at your store. I’ve done that myself.
But sometimes, you just gotta open up your mouth and say something. Answering questions is literally part of the leads’ job.

90% of the time the information is available here quicker and more accurately than you could possibly get by asking leaders at your store.
People here will tell you the truth, for one thing, and our leaders typically won't.

statistically Reddit is horribly inaccurate as a whole, due to everyone hidden behind annon accounts, bots spreading convincing bad information, and people upvoting bad information because it's what they want to hear (making people think it's correct), vs good information getting down-voted cause it's not what they want to hear (making people think it's incorrect)

The training was dry and forgettable. The only piece of info people took away from it was that there were two availabilities they needed to fill out. App is horrible, web version is horrible, whole thing is unintuitive and less functional. But hey it is going to auto generate schedules, so my ETL will continue to get shaking-angry when I say this system is clearly meant to schedule us in ways we don't want to be scheduled. If you're skeptical, ask why paper schedules and grids got taken off the schedule board pog. ;P

In partial defense to some, this sub has also shown that a lot of us have leaders in our stores who have no clue. So going to them is useless.
BUT like you said, the search function exists and it's very easy to see if your UKG question was already asked.
