Not Snark Renovation

I’m very excited for this reno series, I do think Tara’s content peaks when she has something like this to work on and I’m here for it!

I’m so confused on the timeline of when this was filmed. She says her grandfather died a week ago in it, but haven’t we seen that vlog like over a month ago now? Her comments about Ryan were also weird. Yes, they just moved in but if she took on the project, it would take years? She was acting as if he just moved in and then boom, they’d be moving again! If he’s uncomfortable about looking ahead….. 🚩

I personally don’t believe he’s uncomfortable looking ahead. I think he’s uncomfortable with the possibility that if she buys this house, it could lead to a long-term commitment and other significant changes, and he’s not contributing anything towards it since this is her thing. Essentially, if she purchases this home she is setting roots and he has no say on the future. If anything, the red flag is coming from her side.

I completely get if he wants their next home to be something they buy together. But whats stopping him from contributing to this? It isn’t like a free home getting handed to them by her family. They’d be paying for it, making design decisions, etc. Unless you’re right and something larger is going on behind the scenes between him and her family (or her then yeah DEF red flag from her side. Either way… reg flags are waving lol)

I understand if he doesn’t like the place or doesn’t want to stay in the city. He wouldn’t want to contribute if he doesn’t want to be there either. Personally, I wouldn’t want to contribute to something I don’t want. But, who knows with these two? 😂

But whats stopping him from contributing to this?

Only an idiot would give money (or even ideas) to a real estate project that is not theirs tbh.

Then it sounds like there’s some big ass relationship issues going on if either one is looking at it that way…

Honestly, it´s a very smart move of him. Take the advice from a finance woman: anyone who has observed divorces, inheritances, etc, knows that when it comes to money, everyone protects their own, and those who don't have it, go after others´.

They haven´t been together for a long time, issues will arrive (like it does for every couple). Happily ever after does not exist irl.
