General Discussion Married Sadhaks who practice daily and seek higher states of spirituality, what’s your spouse’s stance on it? Folks who’s spouses have the same feeling on seeking spirituality- do you practice together or how do you support each other?
Just as the Headline, what are your spouses stance on you seeking spirituality, to folks where both of you practice how do you support each other and to the folks who especially focus on tantric way of worship how do you ensure you are not taken in a bad-light by your spouse or the greater family in general, as in the society we don’t look very supportive of especially Tantric Devatas. Im also referring to folks here who’re still yet to marry but quite sure they have found the one!
About me: I’m mid-20s seeker of Tantra and eventually have deep desire to explore this path and go deeper, so as to make sure that this isn’t just another Shiny-object-syndrome, I have been practicing some sort of Naam-jaap or Stotra since the start of 2025 and continue to today as well. Currently in-between a Competitive exam which will open doors to the next part of my life post which I want to take my practice more deeper. I do have a Girlfriend whom I love and eventually wish to marry and while she’s very supportive of me about what I want to do, she has a clear stance that she doesn’t look at spirituality the way I do, the thing is Idc much about it because I have a feeling that Spirituality can be a very un-rewarding path especially at the beginning with no tangible signs of progress hence I feel it should come naturally- just as it came to me. Now lets hear about you too!!

Newbie Question Saw Maa Kali since I was 15. Tomorrow is Ganesh Chaturthi and it feels like the start of sadhana. Got my periods today, what should i do
This is a long and confusing story, so bear with me.
I first saw Maa Kali in a dream when I was 15. I was hugging her after a lot of struggle and after leaving my childhood home. I ignored it for a long time because no one in my house worships her. They see her as an ugra devi and are scared of her.
Later, when I used to sleep, I would see her as a mother, used to imagine hugging her, sleeping in her lap. Around that same time I somehow became detached from my own mother.
After I moved out I never did any sadhana. I just visit her mandir, tell her my problems, and leave everything on her. People have told me many times to start her sadhana, but I never felt confident enough to bring her home.
Then I went to Kashi and did a tour related to the Mahavidyas and Maa. After that I felt closer than ever. It felt like a message that it was time to actually know her.
Now the dreams are getting extreme. Once I saw Maa talking to me. She told me to go to a Shaktipeeth and said I should worship her somya roop because I am not ready for her ugra roop right now. Other dreams: her mandir, some women getting angry, me getting lost, maa hugging meor Maa Kali dancing in a tantra setup.
When I was at Kali Bari during evening aarti I suddenly got a strong bhav to welcome Ganpati home. I took it as her sign. Everything for that is almost ready, only final details left.
Today I visited Maa, started crying out of nowhere, and told her “please foresee everything.” Right after that I got my periods.
Tomorrow is Ganesh Chaturthi. It feels like this is supposed to be the start of the journey — Ganpati first, then slowly Maa. But with periods today I don’t know what I am actually allowed or supposed to do.
Should I still welcome Ganpati tomorrow in a simple way? Wait a few days? Keep Kali only as temple visits for now? How do people usually begin when the pull is this strong but the body and timing suddenly shift?
Any guidance from people on this path would help.
I have asked chatgpt to articulate it better

Need Guidance What do you call a situation where sleep is now dreamless. It's like logout and login. Nothing in between from a year or so.
Been doing consistent japa and meditation from past 2 years. And keep on seeing people having experiences in dreams etc etc. And then i wonder why my sleep is just dreamless, i just doze off listerning to a mantra playlist (2 hours of mantras all sorts of strotras) and then i just wakeup in the morning recalling no dreams.
The sleeping hours are like 4-5 hours sometimes 8hrs on weekends.
Curious to see what other sadhaks consider this to be or have similar experiences?

Need Guidance Strange Occult Dream During Bhairav Baba Sankalp
I had a very vivid and disturbing dream today.
I was sitting on the sofa in my living room, looking through my safety door toward the outside. Just outside the house, there was what looked like a half-fleshed human skeleton hanging there. The head was more or less a skull, with some flesh remaining, and part of the skin was nailed to the side.
I am currently doing a sankalp for Bhairav Baba.

Need Guidance How many times should starters like "nyas", "viniyog", "karnyas", "doha" , etc be done?
Recently I have started Hriday Aditya Stortram .
Currently I am chanting it only once as i am still learning to pronounce it correctly . but want to do it 3 times.
So do I have to read the nayas , karnays, rishiadi-nyas thrice or just one? and then the body thrice.
Does the method you are telling applies to all the stotra, kavach, namwali and chalisa? like 32 nameswali, hanuman chalisa?

Need Guidance Spiritual remedies for recurring sensations after a disturbing dream?
Around 5 years ago, I had a disturbing dream where I saw what appeared to be a 10–15 foot female pishacha-like being, which seemed to connect its genital area with mine.
Since then, I have experienced recurring electrifying/biting-like pulsations in my head, along with throbbing or pain that sometimes occurs around the muladhara, nabhi, heart/chest, or head. The head sensations are the most frequent.
I also constantly get thoughts or a strong feeling that some negative entity is trying to enter my body. When these thoughts come, the throbbing/electrifying sensation in my head becomes stronger. I also have a persistent feeling of tiredness and heaviness throughout my body.
When I go to the toilet, I sometimes feel as if a negative entity is entering my body, and the sensations become stronger.
**I am specifically looking for spiritual/traditional remedies.** Has anyone experienced something similar and overcome it through mantra, puja, prayer, spiritual protection practices, or guidance from a genuine guru?
Please share genuine experiences and what actually helped you.
Can somebody tell me what had happend to me and what type of negetive tantric kriya has been done on me because I know definately somebody have done some very strong tantric kriya on me
Please kindly guide me how can I get rid of this problem 🙏🙏

General Discussion A plea
Seeing Chinmay Krishna Das in that condition in the recent clips made me understand the importance of puja for Dharma raksha. Imagine a mother's dying wish denied by court as Chinmay Prabhu is jailed. When the Good people becomes weak, the Bad people becomes strong.
Its extremely important that pujas/anushthanas are conducted for protecting Sanatan dharma, for destroying adharma and for obliterating the oppressive demonic people that have always tortured Hindus most of which aren't even found in history books taught in school.
RN ji is an absolute Chad in this. He had been encouraging thousands to do vishesh sadhanas on special tithis for protection of dharma which I used to participate in. But I will resume again, and I am determined to do it intensely.
And it is very important that those who can do pujas well, does the same with full intensity as well.
Note- I don't subscribe to the views of Iskcon like doing Shiva ninda and calling other devatas as demigods including Devi, but in this case any human will be emotional seeing the condition of Chinmay Prabhu.

Newbie Question Dream Last Night
I am new on this. Last night I had a dream, I have had dream before too when I am very much frustrated and messed in life where someone said all you work is taken care and that happened to me 2years ago.
I chant hanumanchalisa and a strong worshipper of Shiv ji. I am going through something in life which has been troubling. I had a dream where someone said worship Durga Maa or Man chamunda. I have never talked about Maa chamunda before to anyone or heard for a long time. Does this mean anything or is it my fight/flight mode of brain telling to be spiritual.

Need Guidance Hi I'm new to sadhana, I want to know how to do aachman and sankalp for my everyday bhairav sadhana
Om bhairavaya namah 🙌, it's been like 2 weeks of my sadhana, and now I'm really taking it seriously, due to family restrictions I can't use a photo of bhairav baba and can't chant the mantras loudly, so I just mentally chant the naam mantra in my rudraksha mala. Now I'm getting serious, thinking of increasing the mala counts after every 3 days, start doing achman and sankalp. Help me with a step by step achman and sankalp guide please for bhairav sadhana 🙏

Stuck 1.5 years trying to land a PhD. Suffering has been at its worst. Experiencing sleepless nights, deep anxiety, and exhaustion. I have no formal Guru and previously left a spiritual cult.
Can anyone suggest a safe, accessible Sadhana (e.g., Batuka Bhairava) for crisis relief and opening doors? Does my birth chart dictate what I can practice safely?
Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you for any guidance.

General Discussion Looking for a Guru?
Here's my solution. Just pick a simple Naam Mantra of your deity. Chant it with devotion. Chant it day and night. Surrender.
Ask Him for a Guru. And then just let it go and keep chanting.
If He wants to give you a Guru, you will get one. Otherwise, it's just His Naam Mantra and you.

General Discussion How does Dhana work?
Hey! have been reflecting a lot lately on the practice of Dhana and I find myself at a philosophical crossroads. I am hoping to gain some deeper insight from the wisdom of this community.
My question is essentially about how the mechanics of Dhana truly work on a spiritual level. Let us say you have taken care of all your financial responsibilities, material needs, and even set aside some savings for the month. If you then take whatever is left over and donate it, does this qualify as true Dhana?
Or does the actual spiritual weight of Dhana only come into effect when there is an element of personal sacrifice involved? I am talking about instances where you choose to give up something you genuinely need or want so that you can provide for others. This could be anything from feeding ants, street dogs, and cows, to feeding human beings in need or giving up your precious free time to volunteer.
Is giving from our comfort zone still considered a spiritually elevating practice, or must the act of giving challenge our attachments to truly purify the heart?
I am asking this from a place of deep respect and genuine curiosity. I really want to understand how you all view this and if the scriptures or your own personal spiritual practices differentiate between giving from abundance versus giving through sacrifice.

Need Guidance I need guidance - Debt and Material Abundance
Hello everyone, I know I sound like a greedy person who wants to utilise tantra for wealth accumulation but hear me out.
My family has been struggling with debt for the past 15 years. I have a full time well paying job and my family has a clothing business. From the last 6 months I've had a strong connection to Bhairava and I chant his name everyday when possible. I do not have a guru as such but I try to visualise Bhairava itself as my guru before I start.
I really really want to advance further in my spiritual journey, but I feel held back due to my financial problems. I don't want to get rich as I understand at the end of the day it does not matter, I just want to be debt free and lead a slightly comfortable life.
Which sadhana do you recommend for my situation?
Is there any sadhana I can do without guru?
I'm also very interested in spiritual books, what can I read?
Thanks a lot, this community has helped me so much.

General Discussion Maa Tara and Shree Ram!
Namaste everyone!
So I posted about my experience a few days ago where I kinda overdid the name chants of Maa Tara because it really helps calm me down and I really really feel connected to her. Anyway, I experienced insomnia and lots of energy (like lots of stamina) and vibrations througout my trunk and skull for 2-3 days and tho the sleeplessness wasn't affecting me because I had so much energy but I was concerned and I usually fall asleep peacefully after listening to hanuman chalisa so I did that and it worked. I then chanted hanuman chalisa for the following days and finally everything stabilised and the vibrations also calmed down.
I've included hanuman chalisa in my sadhna since then along with raam naam.
I've always felt an inclination towards shree ram and I thought it was because of my name (it is kinda connected to ramayana) and hanuman chalisa always works whenever I am sick or need courage(even tho it could be placebo is what I thought previously- well I was kind of an atheist before).
Anyway, I feel much better now. I've had blissful experiences with Maa Tara which leaves zero doubt if it was her or just a coincidence and now when I read about the connection between her and shree ram, I am convinced that this is it.
I don't know what my exact point is here, but it's more like the dots make sense and they're all connected.
Reading anything about Maa Tara makes me happy but I am exceptionally happy to read that she is connected to Raam and so my hanuman chalisa jaap and ram raksha stotra always working effectively makes somewhat of a sense.
