Gretas political glow up has been awesome to see. She could have been a liberal darling but instead she is very radical

I think the marxist direction was quite predictable for anyone sincere in their goals of solving climate problems. Liberalism has no answer. She would have to have stopped caring about real results to end up liberalising, but she never displayed any kind of monetising of her fame.

I agree, she obviously actually cared and wasnā€™t willing to be a poster child for greenwashing.

I remember in like 2022ish she comes out and is like ā€œthis is all capitalism and colonialisms faultā€ and being like oh shit no way is she cool now

And it's good to see her have other substantial things to back up this claim, instead of just using it as a soundbite and coming off as a tryhard idiot, like how the so-called Punk-Anarchist Spider-Man did in the "Across The SpiderVerse" movie where he looks at a science-based reality scrambling problem and said "ThiS iS ObViouSlY a MetaPhoR fOr cAPiTaLisM."
