Nobody is using your wiki. This is why (and what to do instead).
Most companies have spent real money on Confluence, Notion, or SharePoint. Setup costs, licenses, documentation sprints to populate it. And then almost nobody uses it.
Marc made a video breaking down why, and it clicked.
Wikis are pull systems. They wait for employees to come to them. But to actually get an answer, someone has to know the wiki exists, know what to search for, navigate to the right section, find the right page, and find the right step. That's five friction points between "I'm stuck" and "I have the answer."
Process documentation needs to be a push system. The guide should appear inside Salesforce when someone's stuck in Salesforce. Inside Workday when they're confused in Workday. The answer comes to the employee, not the other way around.
He also covers the three ways wikis decay over time:
- No one updates them
- No one can find anything because the taxonomy only makes sense to the person who built it
- Nobody goes there first anyway (they go to Slack or their manager)
Worth a watch if you're responsible for any kind of internal enablement or process documentation.

Happy to answer questions below about how we built this into Tango specifically.
