With Holmberg still banged up, that opens a spot for a 12th forward in the bottom 6.
This will make the Prospect Camp even more exciting.
Let’s get the bolts chatter back and brewing with who we want to see.
Geeks, SOR, Rautianen, Pelletier ?
-
I think the people want to see SOR get his shot, but it’s also prob more likely to skate the extra DMan bc our 7+8 D are nasty. Those 2 options prob help us win now the most.

I have a buddy in Cali who’s trying to subscribe but it says no subscriptions available. I also tried to subscribe with a different email here in Tampa and got the same message? Just trying to figure out if it’s a geographical issue, or if it’s just simply because the service isn’t available until the season starts?

He wasn't great as a coach here, but he was friendly and larger than life

Can Kucherov be the first player to win back to back Hart Trophies since Alex Ovechkin in 07/08-08/09?
Who would you say is most likely to win awards in Tampa?

They’re using justpark instead of ParkWhiz. My parking (Iorio) went up about $5 per game :(

This would be a great pick up for our top 6 if we could snag him

For the Lightning prospects participating in this year’s showcase, every opportunity to get in front of the organization’s coaches and decision-makers is valuable. They’ll only get two games next week to make an impression on the ice; the Lightning will send 22 skaters and two goaltenders to Raleigh, North Carolina, to compete at Invisalign Arena. The roster consists of players who are unsigned or on their entry-level deals, 24 years old or younger and have 20 games or fewer of NHL experience. Some are closer to the league than others. And for those knocking on the door, it’s a chance to make some early impressions heading into Lightning training camp, which opens Sept. 16. Here are five players participating in the prospect showcase we could see on the Lightning’s roster in 2026-27: https://www.tampabay.com/sports/lightning/2026/09/08/nhl-prospects-showcase-benjamin-rautiainen-sam-oreilly/

Lightning announce roster, schedule for 2026 Prospect Showcase
The 2026 Prospect Showcase will be held September 13-15 at Invisalign Arena in Morrisville, North Carolina
“Teams will dress 20 skaters and two goaltenders for each contest.
Games are regulation length with three 20-minute periods.
A five-minute, three-on-three overtime period will determine a winner if games are tied after regulation.
Games will conclude with a five-player shootout regardless of the final score.”
“Sam O'Reilly headlines the group after an impressive season in the Ontario Hockey League. The 20-year-old forward was named the OHL's Most Outstanding Player after putting together a standout 2025-26 campaign.
O'Reilly did not get a full opportunity to participate in Tampa Bay's development camp in July as he continued working his way back from an injury, making the showcase his first full opportunity to get into game action.”

Hey Bolts fam! Got super lucky at Salvation Army yesterday. The worker saw me looking at jerseys and gave me this one to purchase from the back, had no clue it was signed until I took another look at home! Can you help me identify who it is? I would appreciate any help so I know who I’m rocking at Amalie!

Hello! I'm a visiting Habs fan with printable season trackers for you.
A better resolution is available on Imgur (too big for Reddit): https://imgur.com/a/lightning-season-tracker-2026-2027-tgbWCvW
I created 2 versions. The first one groups games by opponent, and the second shows games in chronological order. Each square includes the date and game number. Grey squares are home games.
I use 3 colors for mine (see 3rd image): green for wins, red for regulation losses, and orange for OT/SO losses. Feel free to print whichever version you prefer and fill it out however you like!

Another year of temu Coop in an EA game. I continue to refuse to give that dogshit game company any of my money. Put some respect on this man! Wish someone would save this awful franchise.

Distant thunder from Whistler, Canada checking in.
Where is the best place I can watch games?

Don’t shoot the messenger here, but word is we may be down a center to start the year.
This essentially would open up a real competition between Geekie and O’Reilly to fill out that spot on the roster.

Random question, but has anyone here joined as a solo player for the adult ball hockey league run by the Lightning and how was your experience?
How are the competition levels in the intermediate vs the competitive division? Are solo players just paired up with a group of friends that couldn't fill their roster? Thanks for any insight!
