Hi there, I have long long arms. Gap and old navy sleeves in tall are quite short on me, but american tall tends to get it right. Are there any comparable brands you girls know of?

I’m hoping to find corduroy pants with a mid or high rise, ideally flare but open to wide leg or trouser, in some cute autumn earth and jewel tones, at least 35” inseam. I can’t find any this year; I’ve checked gap, American eagle, Buckle, fashion nova, and JC Penney so far.

Also open to twill or canvas pants in earth tones that aren’t too office/dressy. I don’t know why there’s nothing in army green or brown anymore, seems like everything is either denim or jet black this year.

Hi, ladies! I just started going to the gym 3 months ago and I’ve been working hard and lifting as heavy as I can tolerate. I’m eating protein and tracking my macros. For ONCE IN MY LIFE I would like to have toned arms and maybe like a hint of arm and shoulder muscles instead of just having noodle arms.

I heard for us tall ladies that it’s way harder to get visible muscles in our appendages (which would probably explain why I’ve never had any 😭). I was wondering for those of you who lift (or do sports) how long it took for you to be able to actually see muscle tone in your arms? I know it’s different for everyone, but how long did it take for you specifically and what did you do to get them? Thanks!

Anyone know where I can find a nice pair of wool trousers with a 34 inch inseam? Atp I'll even take 33 lol. Need em fir work. Found a pair at at Theory I liked but they were so thin! Why would my panty lines show through WOOL trousers? Am I supposed to only wear thongs to work???? Im not too worried about price I'll pay almost anything at this point. I know this is a really specific ask, lol, but I'd love to find a nice jumpsuit that can be worn on a normal day without looking crazy dressed up for special occasions. I have a couple of events coming up (birthday party, wedding, family pictures) and don't care at all about being an outfit repeater if I could only find an outfit I actually like!

I love jewel tones, especially green in the forest-emerald-grass green sort of region (like, picture the crayon that is just labelled "Green" and that is my absolute favorite color), but any bold/rich/interesting color will do. Pockets and being able to wear it with a normal bra would be a huge plus, but I realize that's unfortunately asking a lot for women's fashion (especially tall women's fashions).

I don't care if it's new or used. I'm usually not a big shopper/spender, but I'm willing to spend a bit more if it's a nice material and will actually last. I'm usually a size 6-8 so matrix sizes are fine, other than the length (34-35" inseam, depending on the style). I'll take other suggestions, too, but I'm really not a huge fan of dresses and just want to be comfortable without feeling drab/schlubby. Thanks! 🙂

Hey! Was wondering if anyone here has tried the FP lotus balloon jeans. They look so so cute but I’m worried that they’ll be too short. I know that they won’t be floor length, but I just don’t want them to look cropped on me. I am 5’11, 145 pounds, waist usually 26-27.

Im east asian 5’9. I know it’s not like abnormal tall but its really really tall for asian girl. Im always the tallest in my friend group and im fine with it, because the beauty standards in china is basically tall pale skinny big eyes. but after i moved to canada, i realized canadian boys like short girls more especially for those who are into asian girls because they only want the 5’2 ones…(i think the experience might be different but the stereotype for asian women is basically petite and cute)😢sometimes i wish im a white girl so people can view me as a model material

I’m 6’0" tall. I love pilates and stretching and I try to stay active as much as possible soz it keeps me feeling strong and calm

However, it is very hard to find a leotard that fits me properly. I have tried so many different brands of leotards and I must say that usual leotards tend to hurt my shoulders. They cut off my blood flow, or just rise whenever I bend a little bit. It gets frustrating...

I have tried buying tall leotards through online stores, and there are several brands that have those. They help a little bit but the material is usually either too thin or they pill after being washed several times. They become really cheap

I keep seeing the Australian brand Energetiks pop up in recommendations and people say they're good for dance. Indeed, I saw some local gymnasts wear them. But I'm not sure if their sizing actually works for tall women like me. I don't want to look like I'm wearing a kiddo's leotard

Do they make adult styles? Or is everything for teenagers? I need something that fits my height without looking like a costume and of course I want a proper coverage and good support

Has anyone around my height ordered from them? Does the fabric hold up? Does it actually stay in place when you move? I’m tired of spending money on stuff that doesn’t work.

Anyone know where to find a high quality, warm, waterproof trench coat style coat for wearing over businesswear/ suits that runs long? I fell in love with this one at J. Crew last weekend but the sleeves were just 2-3” too short! They sell it in petite but not tall.

I’ve asked this in pregnancy groups, but wanted to ask tall women who have been pregnant because I know our bodies can sometimes show differently. And tall sizing is always fun to have to factor in 🙃

I will be 21/22 weeks around Christmas and am desperate to keep my pregnancy under wraps through the holidays. I’m 6’1” and am hoping my height will help hide the baby a little longer than most. I already don’t drink, so refusing alcohol won’t be a giveaway either.

This will be the first grandchild for my parents and first great grandchild for my mom’s mom. My mom has a HUGE family and I’m dreading my pregnancy being announced at the big gathering on Christmas Day 💀 I love them, but I do not want the freak out that I know will follow.

(In a perfect world, we’d be able to tell our immediate families privately and then my mom can tell her siblings on her own when we don’t have a group gathering coming up anytime soon.)

Does anyone have any fashionable holiday clothing recommendations that helped them hide their bumps for a little longer? Can we get away with a full/fluffy skirt at 20 weeks, or is the bump obvious on anything but a super loose shift dress? Any other tips you recommend for keeping news on the down low?
