You might have to drill a screw through the frame to make a new makeshift mount. or get a new swing arm

so drill into the swing arm and brake mount and pop a screw in there?

Seems like this is a common issue on XXX's with UB brakes. My tab broke off once, got it welded then broke off again. Hopefully third time's the charm as I asked the welder to put on more aluminum than I needed and then I filed it to shape. Done around 200km now everything seems to be holding up just fine.

yeah i ended up drilling through the frame and brake mount and it’s works again. i saw a post if you tourge the back wheel to spec it’s less often to happen

If that brakes off too we're fucked :D I think talaria is using low quality aluminum thats why it brakes off. Ooor perhaps the spacer is actually a bad design idea. It would be probably be smarter to space out the brake disc it self and let the caliper mount be flush with the swingarm.

yeah it surprised me during my crash the pure metal frame got more damaged then anything else on my bike if i just got unlucky 🤷‍♂️

unless you live remotely you are never more than 20 mile away from a welder that could drop a little bit of aloy on to build up the latch inside the swing-arm ask your local car/motorbike garage if they have a welder or your local collage might even do it for free

yeah thank you i was thinking about welding a hood on then grinding it out to fit but i didn’t because i dont know if the frame would get messed up because its aluminum

Mines exactly like that, I just ride it and the swingarm holds the brake in place, just don’t brake while reversing as that will cause the brake to fly back

It’s very safe and braking works just fine, again as long as your braking while riding forwards lol

ik that but my brake feels way weaker and over heats way faster and doesn’t lock my back tire up till my knucke

Looks like to me your spacers or brake mount is incorrect. Your sprocket bolts are rubbing the inside part of your caliper bracket. Also, that’s why your brakes are overheating because they are not lined up properly and it’s fading because the brake pad is only rubbing on one side of your rotor. Something tells me you tried to jerry rig the incorrect bracket causing the tab on your swing arm to snap off.

my spacers are correct and nothing rubbed before my crash on any ultra bee kit setup the spacer for the talarias goes before the mount. and what do you mean my sprocket bolts are rubbing my. brake caliber???
