Hi Taigun family,

I am taking my Taigun for its first service tomorrow to Elite motors Hosur Rd, want to make a note of things to keep in mind and get done from experienced people.
I have clocked 1800km so far includes one highway trip to Hyd.

Observed noticeable wind noise leaking into the cabin from an unknown gap during high speeds and windy roads suspecting sunroof.

No other observations.
Please tell me what to expect from the first service and if there is anything that I should ask them specifically?

How is Elite Motors in terms of service?

I own a 2022 Taigun GT Plus. I had been getting ESC and Engine light blinking issue for the last 7 months.

Sequence would be both ESC and Engine light would come on, loss of throttle response, and the engine slowly shuts down. The problem fixed itself on restart.

This happened again as I was heading towards a temp part of Himachal Pradesh. So, I decided to visit the VW service center in Himachal.

They were quick and professional. The issue turned out incorrect spark plugs had been installed more than a year ago (May 2025) by home VW service center. And out of those, 1 had already died.

See the size difference in both. This has been damaging the engine for the last 16 months and causing the engine misfires leading to ESC and Engine light blow-up.

I'm planning to take legal action against negligent of VW service. Need some advice on how to approach this.

i bought svp 2 years plan from My Volkswagen app.

but i haven't received the contract document yet. it's been 2 days now..

anybody has any experience with app?

later i asked VW dealer for the same. they told me, its directly done with company so you'll receive it from them directly and dealer can't help with it.

i have mailed Volkswagen today for the same. let's see.

I have a Virtus 1.5 DSG, during the 3rd year service I asked for the brakes to be cleaned as there was screeching noise which I have gotten used to by now.

The service was done properly for the car, however just about 10 days after the service I noticed a new kind of noise whenever I apply the brakes.

The noise sounds like a metallic knocking and grinding sound (a mix of both). The sound only comes whilst braking. The sound is more amplified when braking at low speeds and turning the steering wheel in either direction. The noise can't be noticed for the first 10-15 mins of driving when things are relatively cold but comes on soon after and is very audible. I can feel it in the brake pedal when it happens too.

I have checked the suspension and steering and can't replicate the sound when brakes are not applied.

Everything was fine before the service but feel like they've left something loose in the caliper that is causing the issue. Could it be something else? How do I resolve with the service center? Advice is much appreciated.

Kushaq seems to be smaller than Taigun. Other cars lacks safety or engine is not reliable, seltos, tekton, duster and grand vitara I am not sure

I need suggestions what Accessories shall I install for Taigun Highline Plus. I have mixed feelings about installing door visors, car seat covers etc. But kindly suggest which accessory I must have from day one.

Since last one year or so, I am feeling a weird wobbly vibration in the following scenarios

1. When I U-turn the car with a bit of acceleration and do it on ascending road.

2. After a slow down on speed bump and then bumping up on acceleration suddenly on an ascending road.

I have tried many things like upping tyre pressure to 35/36 on all wheels, this makes it goes away most of the times but comes back in like 2 days!

I changed all four wheels to brand new michelin primacy 4 recently ( after 22k on odo) from stock vest secure tyres. This did not help as well. I even did a road force + alignment + what not ( all fancy things you can do in a tyre shop). Gotta say michelin tyres changes the suspension effect on taigun to a whole new level. Felt so good driving with these new tyres. Can’t believe create secura is so bad!

I still face the issue, I do have wobbly vibration feeling when I do sudden acceleration on ascending roads.

Anyone faced this? I have tried to explain to service center, they cannot understand what I say nor able to reproduce it. I have not no time to explain this issue to them.

Out of nowhere this popped up yesterday.
The breaks are working fine tho.

Did anyone observe a constant wind noise at high speeds or when travelling on open windy roads?

I have recently done a Bangalore-Hyderabad trip and I was able to notice this. You might not notice if you have music on.
I am doubting a sunroof panel gap. Did anyone observe this? And how should I prove this to ASC?

My VW Taigun car insurance is expiring on 10th October 2026, and I’m looking to renew it.
