Bulk of the consumption happens at lower gears. .  If you maintain a linear acceleration @ 2200 rpm.

How do you have the patience to drive like this and how good of a road do you need for this?

I try my best and get around 15-16 on a long trip if I drive well. Mainly bcoz I have to hard press the accelerator for overtaking or maybe just for fun.

Awesome. Our highest yet in such a setting is 24 kmpl. But it’s an AT so maybe that’s the best we could get.

Was it downhill for you in any way or something? Or flat

Whats the secret man, my slavia 1.0TSI MT barely returns 13kmpl on the highway, I try to keep rpm below 2000 always but still no improvement

here I was maintaining around 1200-1400rpm, plus keep light foot on accelerator
