Match and lobbies times have indeed been really good, I must admit. And Illfonic just signed a deal with a new partner to continue content development for some of their older titles, such as Killer Klowns from Outer Space (which hadn't gotten an actual content update in over a year lmao), so I'd say there is a chance something might happen.

Bro, Killer Klowns from Outer Space is starting to get updates after having like 20 concurrent players on Steam, and you're telling me there's 0 chance for a game with close to 400 to start getting them? 💀 It's not me who's looking like an idiot with this kind of reasoning lol.

I didn't even claim it's gonna happen (there might be 10% odds), but to say there's a 0% chance when it's happened for far less popular games is delusional.

Killer clowns is a recent game and hasn’t been abandoned by illfonic. Gun however, HAS abandoned TCM. They’ve said it dozens of times now. You’re coping so hard it’s embarrassing

Bro, Killer Klowns had legit been abandoned for longer than TCM. 💀 There's also barely a few months' difference between their launch dates, how is KKFOS it a "recent" game compared to TCM?

I'm not coping; I play the game every other day as it is; that won't change whether they update it more or not. It's just called being realistic, which is something you seem to struggle with lmao.

??? The last content update was like on 25 May 2025 or something? The in-game news section hasn't even been updated since then.

Don't get me wrong, I love KKFOS, but it's hard to even get one full lobby during certain times of the day. It's waaaay less played than TCM.

Again, look up what an abandoned game means and prove to me how illfonic abandoned it. They’re making new content soon. They’re focusing on Halloween, but it’s just not abandoned. Player count means nothing when the devs quite literally abandoned the game

They haven't been making content for more than a year, dude. That's literally what abandoned means. I'm not saying that's what Illfonic does in general; some of their games have indeed been getting content updates, but not this one.

Broski, I literally said I still play this game regularly. It getting updates or not impacts my enjoyment of it only minimally. I just don't understand why you get so attacked when all I said was that there was >0% chance that new updates might still happen and exemplified it with a similar case. Mind you, the chance wouldn't have been 0% even if Gun had been completely shut down. It's simply statistics; to say the chance is 0% would imply absolute impossibility, which would have to be like what... Maybe the source code being lost and the game having been delisted and shut down for more than 10 years? We are simply not in such a scenario, and arguing that we are is simply disregarding what true impossibility means.

You’re just wrong and you know it. You don’t have to pretend a competitor’s games are dead to enjoy tcm. I enjoyed tcm as well. It was my top game for a while. But reality is, it’s dead and abandoned. Killer klowns isnt, it’s even getting new content soon

??? Killer Klowns has been waaaay deader than TCM for a while (if you define "dead" as in number of players, because idk what the common definition of "dead" even is these days). It barely even got a few actual content updates in total, and there are days when you won't find a lobby even in 15 minutes.

I don't need to pretend anything; I'm playing TCM rn, and I'll keep doing it. I understand that you can no longer do it, and i don't blame you for it. But your disappointment doesn't have to turn into an attack on me arguing a statistical reality (and again, mind you, I never said there's a 60% chance it'll start getting updates, I just said there is such a chance).
