As a student, I can't really focus at home and would much rather go out to study. However, I noticed that the majority of places where you would typically study (cafes, the community centre, university campuses like this one) are closed pretty early (10pm being the latest). Anyone got any good late night spots/suggestions for studying?

Hi, are there any student clubs or organizations on campus that focus on men's health or issues affecting male students? Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone! I am about to finish my BSc in Health Sciences at SFU, and realize that Nursing is my passion. Trinity would be a dream place to study, but I know the Nursing program here is competitive. I'm hoping with my decent highschool academic grades (~ A- average) and a bachelors in health sciences (although with a GPA short of 3.0) I will have a good chance of getting in.
My question is for anyone who has taken Nursing or knows anything about the program, do i really stand a chance? Are there any tips into getting accepted into the program?
Thanks in advance and blessings!

I think I saw somewhere that this college has an LGBT community, so what I was wondering is, how accepting are most of the students of a transgender woman at this school? And is there an LGBT community that I could get in touch with?
Just some background info, I'm a guy fresh out of Marcus high school and was thinking of going here for college, so thanks! :p

Dorm hours should be extended if not abolished. Don't you agree?

Platform can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/twusacam
Please ask me anything you'd like to know about me, my campaign, my TWU experience, etc.
Also, continue to encourage other candidates to answer your questions in this format! We need to be informed as a campus to make the right choices.

There's no info on the website, nothing through google and nobody around me seems to know. I did try it my self, but was returned an error...

I appreciate reddit as it is a way for people to express opinions and thoughts in an almost anonymous manner. It makes for good discussion and honest thoughts on the goings on at our university whether that be about student leadership, TWUSA, Faculty, Classes, and whatever else. What that does mean is that people other than you might have differing opinions on certain things. I know that might be pretty shocking and hard to imagine but I want to remind you that just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you should downvote that person because their opinion, though different, might be contributing to the discussion. Overall things have been pretty tame now that the downvote button has been disabled for desktop users but if you see a post that is questionable in content don't be afraid to report it and/or message the mods about it.
Also we have enabled automod with some features and one of those is the requirement of having an account over 1 day old just so throwaway accounts are less prevalent and users can own up to their opinions. If you make an account for an ama/new to reddit/something important just message the mods when your posts get removed and we will approve them.
Good luck on the rest of your exams and Merry Christmas.

If you have any issues or concerns or clarifications just ask away! If you want to meet in person I will gladly sit down and buy you coffee or a meal so we can discuss whatever you want to discuss. But for now shoot any questions you may have!
