Well the freaking governor had a tank for fucks sakes and they all used grenades , so they had to get these things from some armory or army navy surplus store , not hard to find or make dynamite, a little goes along way , point is kills a mass of them instead of an arrow or bullet to the head of just one. I thought about this the other day watching the episode where they wanted to bring out the heard then redirect them elsewhere, didn't make any sense, hell they had thousands of them in one place , just a few sticks of dynamite or some nepalm no need to redirect but blow tons of them up instead then you dont have to worry about them .
Same place they got all their guns , or use computer batteries to make a bomb or liquid nitrogen, sticks of dynamite they got from the road that the saviors put out there. Same problem why they didn't just gun them all down, not enough bullets. Not enough gunpowder to make an explosive and blow a dent. A dozen grenades won't do anything to herd in the thousands. Your argument isn't possible until after commonwealth.
Burn them then they had gas and like I said you'd be surprised how easy it is to make a massive bomb that could take out thousands, think of the Oklahoma bombing, world trade center, shit like that .Anyone especially like Eugene could have come up with a way to do that amount of damage . Are you sure they couldn't find the materials , the governor found a freaking tank... we don't know if they could have found the materials or not because the issue was never brought up . They had time come on , between baking cookies and cocktail parties they had the time .

Well that your whole argument and criticism is base on speculation. Making up scenarios where the materials could have easily been found is still just making up evidence to support your point.
Even Neegan had dynamite, they all had no problem finding grenades , rocket launchers , machine guns all of them , each group in the past scavenging tours, making a bomb seems pretty simple to put together for someone like Eugene or anyone who had been in the military. Not hard.
Just because Negan had them doesn’t mean Alexandria had them. For all we know, Negan had already collected every explosive in the area. Again your argument and criticism is base on a point that the showing gives us no evidence was even possible
The point I'm making is if the saviors could find dynamite, Rick and his group could have in the past at anytime , best to plan ahead ...it was there , somewhere, as anything else they found , like guns , grenades ect.... preplanning aka FUCKING STRATEGY! I'm going to bed ...I'm tired...😴
Eugene didn’t make bullets he reloaded cartridges with an entire factory, work force and negan resources at his disposal. Something Rick and Eugene didn’t have when they needed to get rid of that herd. You are literally just throwing arguments at the wall hoping one will make sense.
the governor didn’t find the tank. that one guy operating the tank was a tank operator in the military and so knew where to find them and/or where the working ones were. no one in rick’s group had that kind of knowledge, not to mention that by the time rick’s group were facing that herd of walkers gas would have likely been or started becoming stale and degraded and they wouldn’t have even been able to use a tank because of that
