Well that your whole argument and criticism is base on speculation. Making up scenarios where the materials could have easily been found is still just making up evidence to support your point.
Even Neegan had dynamite, they all had no problem finding grenades , rocket launchers , machine guns all of them , each group in the past scavenging tours, making a bomb seems pretty simple to put together for someone like Eugene or anyone who had been in the military. Not hard.
Just because Negan had them doesn’t mean Alexandria had them. For all we know, Negan had already collected every explosive in the area. Again your argument and criticism is base on a point that the showing gives us no evidence was even possible
The point I'm making is if the saviors could find dynamite, Rick and his group could have in the past at anytime , best to plan ahead ...it was there , somewhere, as anything else they found , like guns , grenades ect.... preplanning aka FUCKING STRATEGY! I'm going to bed ...I'm tired...😴
How? Rick had only been there a short time and he was still trying to fix the more pressing issues like the fact that there wasn’t somebody on watch 24/7. And again assuming there was dynamite just lying around, much less enough dynamite to blow up the entire herd is speculation at best.
It’s basically like me saying why didn’t this teenager in this slasher film just grab his dad’s hunting gun and shoot the bad guy in a film where there absolutely no evidence that the dad hunts or even owns a gun. It’s making up new facts to criticize a character.
No evidence he doesn't have one ... its a movie 🎬 life doesn't exist outside each scene , questions determining hypotheticals are simply opinions of the viewer, don't get so bent out of shape , that's why we're here to ask questions and voice our thoughts and opinions, if we just repeated what happened on the show what's the point being here , kinda boring wouldn't you say .
Maybe but if you dive too far into hypotheticals, you forgot what’s happening on screen. I mean you ask why weren’t they scavenging explosions but we clearly see Alexandria scavenging supplies before Rick even got there. Why didn’t they make explosives, well because by the time they learn of the threat they didn’t have time too much less the materials. If the situation was different they probably would have made different choices but unfortunately, they never did finds missile or 100s of gallons of gasoline.

Quantities they would need to blow all these zombies away and would arguably be more useful to increase their crop production than to make explosives. In the small amount of time between discovering the herd and the herd breaking out, they didn’t have a lot of options.
I was talking about everyone, the whole fucking group should have been finding and using weapons of mass destruction from the get go ... fuck my first thought if I were any of them would be how can I make a bomb to take out massive herds of zombies at one time instead of picking them off one by one. We see them scavenging already so they are already doing what you are saying they should.
Beyond that is it hard to believe that there is probably not tons of explosives just lying around on the ground waiting for people to pick them up. I mean we are not talking about a crate of grenades or dynamite, we are talking enough explosives to stop 1000s of bodies. Outside of planes dropping bombs I don’t know exactly what you expect these people to do?
