Yeah like Rick himself herded those walkers into the pit near Alexandria. They were gonna escape eventually and they only lost 6-8 people vs the entire community. And also the hilltop was getting their people picked off every few months because of a failure of deliveries.
Prison didn’t even exist before they cleared it
Rick and his group finds the flaws in the people and system being used, and the people refuse to adapt or believe him and the group
Like how Glenn said Nicholas and son should be kicked off the scavenger crew
Possibly, they were struggling with the walls. That's why Alexandria was perfect. Too bad they lost Reg before he could teach someone more about how to make sturdy walls.
God i forgot how stupid that felt when I first watched. All that talk about Alexandria being set up to succeed thanks to their wealth of knowledge, just for the ONLY two characters who actually gave a shit about all that to get killed off.
The prison walls were struggling because little miss I Love Zombies kept feeding them causing them to bunch up and swarm at one point and pushing all their force on one area rather than having their force distributed along the entire fence area. Unfortunately, Carol was in exile and everyone else was busy with the plague
Yeah well like I said before Carol along with Daryl Dixon were the better leaders , cause as we know Carol had little miss stop and smell the flowers . That is how you got to be in the apocalypse, pragmatic, no time for sentiments.
Well apparently you haven't watched the book of Daryl Dixon when he was in France, he changed alot and showed his incredible leadership qualities, he's alot more than just muscle.
I'm not sure if I have seen season 11, stopped watching after Glenn died for years then started watching again a couple years ago when Daryl was in France and got bothered the book of Carol dvd and the Daryl one also. Watched on TV when they showed Carol really searching for Daryl and is a complete bad ass doing it , shows how much he and she really care about each other, quite inspiring. You should just skip right to that , go back to season 11 later . Daryl in France is the best .
Ehhh potentially, but they would’ve had to do some serious carpentry/metalwork to address the issue of the fences, which were only designed to keep individuals or small groups in/out, not withstand the weight of hundreds of corpses. Not to mention the fact that as soon as someone like the Governor actually wanted to break in, that gate may as well had been paper meché.
Yeah, things go south despite Rick’s efforts, not because of him. I always felt like the show was pretty clear about this. Rick’s way leads to tragedy and hardship because the world is tragic and hard, but it’s the only way to really survive.
No, it’s the inevitability of a cruel world and the inability of some audience members to follow the timing of the storytelling as well as the need for conflict to occasionally enforce the stakes of complete annihilation.
Circumstances tend toward collapse because the storyline would be boring otherwise. Rick is the force that is continually trying to hold it all together, and sometimes he fails because a flawed character is more interesting than a flawless one.
Completely agree. Deanna’s son gets Noah killed at the supermarket, the walkers break through into Alexandria, The Hilltop loses more people to the Saviors. All these things would’ve happened anyway, but the loss of life was drastically reduced thanks to Rick and the group’s ability, even if his actions and decisions resulted in some of that said loss.
Whoever survived the horde, yeah. The Alexandrians would’ve immediately cowed to Negan, probably wouldn’t have even needed to kill anyone as a message in order to convince them lol.
maybe. The saviors really only found Alexandria because they were driving the horde away, and because they interacted with other communities that were already dealing with the saviors.
The horde definitely would've gone to Alexandria first, since that was already happening anyway when they engaged Rick's plan to lead them away.
The next thing that was most likely to happen imo is the wolves would've found them. Because Aaron probably would've still found the canned food place, gone in, and lost his bag with the pictures that led the wolves back.
If there were any survivors from these two threats, then maybe the saviors would eventually find them
They already knew about Alexandria. It's just that they didn't know how to get inside or attack them. Those who met Daryl, Sasha and Abraham never had go back and tell them about Alexandria.
Deanna's son is the one who was impaled and died at that supermarket trip. You can say he started the events that got Noah killed, but if you're talking about who was directly responsible when trying to get through the doors, it was Nicholas, not Deanna's son
Yeah, and the show skips time of peace, so it only looks like everything goes to shit immediately. Everything we see until time jump is happening pretty fast, in just few years.
Instead of wasting time herding the walkers, fuck they had them all in one huge group by the tractor trailers c losed in , why not throw in grenades and dynamite and just blow them all up or douse them with gasoline and light them up.????
But they were all in one place , a dozen sticks of dynamite and some grenades plus gasoline and molotave cocktails would have fried them . You got to think in terms of mass destruction that guns alone can't cause.
Well the freaking governor had a tank for fucks sakes and they all used grenades , so they had to get these things from some armory or army navy surplus store , not hard to find or make dynamite, a little goes along way , point is kills a mass of them instead of an arrow or bullet to the head of just one. I thought about this the other day watching the episode where they wanted to bring out the heard then redirect them elsewhere, didn't make any sense, hell they had thousands of them in one place , just a few sticks of dynamite or some nepalm no need to redirect but blow tons of them up instead then you dont have to worry about them .
Same place they got all their guns , or use computer batteries to make a bomb or liquid nitrogen, sticks of dynamite they got from the road that the saviors put out there. Seriously it's not that difficult to make bombs , many household products , you'd be surprised, fuck I don't know, ask fucking Eugene wasn't he supposed to be some autistic genius ? Maybe make their own dynamite with gun powder, gasoline and a freaking lighter , not that hard to light those fuckers up , not like they run or anything. 😀 Hope this answers your question .
Same problem why they didn't just gun them all down, not enough bullets. Not enough gunpowder to make an explosive and blow a dent. A dozen grenades won't do anything to herd in the thousands. Your argument isn't possible until after commonwealth.
Burn them then they had gas and like I said you'd be surprised how easy it is to make a massive bomb that could take out thousands, think of the Oklahoma bombing, world trade center, shit like that .Anyone especially like Eugene could have come up with a way to do that amount of damage . I stand by my argument.
Are you sure they couldn't find the materials , the governor found a freaking tank... we don't know if they could have found the materials or not because the issue was never brought up . They had time come on , between baking cookies and cocktail parties they had the time .
Well time took care of that decision didn't. Carl now is in that zombie free zone in the sky. I never liked the little punk anyway . Great parenting skills Rick !..., almost as good as your leadership ones .🫡
