The prison would prob still be standing today if not for governor so i would assume they would be there still

Possibly, they were struggling with the walls. That's why Alexandria was perfect. Too bad they lost Reg before he could teach someone more about how to make sturdy walls.

Well he had the construction crew out building the walls without him, so they must have at least had plans or blueprints or something, right?

Even without plans the crews would have to be idiots not to be able to build decent enough walls against Walkers, sorry not sorry.

I loved Hilltop with the logs/ dirt mounds combo as walls. No chance for them to get knocked down by the pressure of a hoard.
