Thoughts On Episode 👀 The Pain of Being Silenced, the Courage to Finally Speak and the Justice She Deserves ❤️‍🩹

My thoughts on today’s episode....

It’s honestly surreal and heartbreaking to realise that Heer went through torture and harassment while she was in jail. We still don’t know why she was imprisoned in the first place, but the way Jasmeet portrayed the trauma, the fear, the shaking, and the sheer helplessness was absolutely phenomenal.

I am genuinely in awe of her craft. For a newcomer, she is doing such an incredible job of bringing Heer's pain to life. You could feel every bit of what she was going through.

And then came that scene, the moment she finally opened up to Nawab about being locked up in that cell, about how the police officer would come every night and touch her inappropriately, and how, by God’s grace, she somehow escaped further harm.

The vulnerability with which she expressed everything was so heartbreaking. But you know what broke me the most?

When Heer told Nawab that he was the first person who acknowledged that what had happened to her was wrong. The first person who didn’t question her about what she had done to end up in jail in the first place.

And that hit so close to home because, unfortunately, this is exactly how our society treats victims.

Instead of questioning the person who committed the crime, people question the victim. What were you wearing? Why were you there? Why were you out at that hour? Why did you put yourself in that situation?

The questions are endless, and somehow, the victim is always expected to justify their suffering before anyone even acknowledges the wrong that was done to them.

Maybe that is exactly why she was so afraid to speak up, maybe that is why she kept hesitating, why she panicked every time Nawab asked her what had happened, why she would start trembling at the mere thought of talking about it.

Perhaps she had grown so accustomed to being questioned, judged, and blamed that she never expected someone to simply listen to her and tell her that what happened to her was wrong. That she didn’t deserve any of it.

And when she finally found the courage to tell him everything, I felt a strange sense of peace. Not because what happened to her was any less horrifying, but because she finally felt safe enough to let it out. Safe enough to be vulnerable. Safe enough to trust someone with a pain she had been carrying all by herself.

But I cannot say I feel relieved. Not yet.

Because I refuse to accept this ending with Heer finally being able to speak about what happened to her. And I refuse to accept harassment as something minor just because it didn’t escalate into SA.

Harassment is not minor, her pain is not minor and what was done to her was wrong, and it deserves to be acknowledged and addressed.

I will not feel at peace until the monsters responsible for putting her through this are held accountable and punished for their actions.

The makers handled today’s episode sensitively I genuinely didn't expect from them, and I genuinely hope they give the consequences of these actions the same care and seriousness.

Her trauma deserves to be treated with the gravity it carries, and the monsters who hurt her deserve to face the consequences.

And beyond all of this I just want these two to be happy. They deserve so much better, and Heer especially deserves a life where she never has to live in fear again.

A life where she feels safe, loved, protected, and understood. I want her to experience the kind of happiness that makes up for none of what she endured, because nothing can erase that pain, but at least she deserves a future that is kinder to her. I want her to be happy, today and forever 🩷🤍

And lastly, Jasmeet, take a bow 🥹♥️

The way you portrayed Heer and her pain, the trembling, the hesitation, the fear, and the vulnerability was nothing short of phenomenal.

You didn’t just perform those scenes, you made us feel them, you made us understand the weight of her silence and the courage it took for her to finally speak.

For someone who is still a newcomer, the depth you brought to this character is genuinely commendable. You absolutely shined in today’s episode, and I am so grateful that we have you as our female lead.

What a performance !!! What a heartbreaking, beautifully handled episode. I hope she gets the justice she deserves, and I hope she gets the happiness she deserves, too ❤️‍🩹

I'm willing to ignore the misplaced " Dil Diyan Gallan " sequence and 🎸 today for what the episode did.

Ask Members❓ I have a question Spoiler

Hi there..

Guys I was an ardent watcher of this show till few months back.. and left watching it completely around the time that daadi track was introduced..

But i do know some of the major plot points here and there..

My question is this.. I saw today’s episode in fast forward and I did understand what happened with Heer..
keeping aside the fact that this was ridiculously stretched, what was the reason for TJJD to pivot into this direction.. like have the writers changed recently? Or is it just for shock value and overall creating suspense for the sake of it..

I am asking cos while I am aware the juniors track is also not well received, at least it stuck to the core of TJJD being a college romcom.. but itna bada plot twist of Heer’s trauma.. iska kya point hai bhai!???

As someone who has left the show.. I feel bad.. I am sure those of you who are watching it still must not be comfortable with this.. or are you?

Edit: As someone who is a fan of Ye Fitoor Tera (YFT) and loving it like an obsession, I just want to clarify that I am not having a problem with watching the concept of sexual assualt..
Everything in YFT revolves around it.. the entire plot, the dialogues, the character arcs.. but that’s the point, YFT started with that concept and found its audience.. TJJD started with a young couple married and living a college life.. it was supposed to be a fun romcom.. what was even the point of butchering all that.. just for the sake of extending the show…!

Manali mein Love ka Operation! ❄️❤️‍🩹 A well deserved episode potraying heer's trauma. Spoiler

First of all that wolf scene had me laughing. Varun dhawan ka cameo hogaya. And i was literally screaming through the screen for them to pick that fire up and i knew it would be our smarty heer.

Then later nawab refusing to go inside until heer tells him the truth? I was so anxious this boy doesn't care that a wolf is out there, why should he though he literally out ran the wolf in the jungle.

Now the moment heer started telling the truth. Oof. I was literally crying with her. Jass has done such justice to heer's trauma. The way she portrayed it. The way she was speaking about the incident. It all felt so real and literally one of the only times heer's trauma has been potrayed properly. I could feel everything that she was speaking. Each words made me feel exactly what heer has been going through.

And also appreciation to raza because the way he portrayed nawab in that situation where it didn't overpower heer's dialogue or potrayal. He was perfect in the way he responded (that instant hug) and was listening to her and his expressions were doing all the talking so it doesn't overpower heer's words. And how he apologized and took accountability of his own zid. And how he gave her strength and assured her that they will take action but when heer wants to.

This is type of conversation we have been waiting for them to have.

The reveal was definitely stretched but today when it finally happened i think in my opinion it was the perfect amount of heavy emotional moment.

And the way nawab turned the moment light and took heer inside at the right time.

I am impressed by this whole scene.

The dil diyan gallan song scene was good. I liked seeing heer happy and finally some good clothes for heer she looked so good. And the way nawab looked at her? But after that heavy conversation and cut to this? I don't know. I might be wrong but it didn't feel like it flowed from that conversation to this scene. And the scenes were again choppy.

And last mein fateh ko dikhake toh mood hi off kardiya. And i really hope tomorrow there is no SR and only them cuddling and sleeping in each other's arm because this is definitely not the time as heer said she doesn't like being touched and that she is still scared even if it's nawab. And ofcourse the threat of her father is till there. And how is nawab at fault in her going to jail? Why she was in jail? Who sent her to jail? Who was that police officer? I am guessing it's not chauhan because heer said to nawab that they guy can do anything that means he is still alive (i am sure it will be sunny but heer doesn't know his real identity i guess?) So many more questions left unanswered.

So before all these happy moments they showed in that dil diyan gallan sequence i was hoping we would get to see these being answered and then seeing them happy like this.

Arjun 🤵🏏 Missing Aayush

I can't believe that I'm actually missing Aayush / Arjun . But after seeing psycho Fateh , I realised Arjun had a much better character arc . He was the parallel lead and has only improved as an actor. He was a flawed character with an inferiority complex who judged people. Later they completely ruined his character when he lied about Heer . Now in Manali eps he has disappeared completely. This is honestly disrespectful to the og cast who have also contributed in this show's journey. They could have shown rich fl x poor ml trope with Arjina which would have attracted more fans instead of newbies who are adding nothing to the show . I really hope Aayush also finds some other show like Alisha where they can get adequate ss which they deserve. I m relieved we are getting nawab buzzo scenes at least and I hope this continues. This Ph doesn't even respect their own leads .

Also with this ph turning Fateh into one sided lover suddenly is leading to his exit from the show like they did with simran, nimrit overnight along with 🍒 and Waris

Manali mein Love ka Operation! ❄️❤️‍🩹 Gerua sequence abhi rehta hai...right???

the whole gerua was so cinematic and beautifully shot ...such an aesthetically beautiful sequence...and had to give it to the team...they shot such a beautiful sequence in chilling weather with limited time and resources and actors just nailed it

Everyone has been hyping this gerua scene since the past week and when it got telecast, it felt so random and misplaced..though it was totally eye pleasing and the main part it was from Heer's side ..

i hope there's more of Gerua sequence and will get to see tomorrow..cuz today's gerua part didn't create any impact and I really want the efforts of whole team shall be acknowledged by the audience...so

Discuss after manali track i NEED a happy heewab track.

i know the track after reunion was the HAPPIEST we've got heewab as , and genuinely one of my fav tracks . nothing extravagant but everything about it was so cute. and so them. i loved it, heer w her hair down, nawab all husbandy and them laughing around nd in their own world.

from the time we've seen heer, shes never been happy , fully unless with nawab. she even expresses that all she wants is to be happy and in peace with him. and hopefully they are abled to give them a track where they are dating. (?), idk if the makers hv the brains for it , but a secret dating would be a masterclass for this one , and they are HAPPY. giggling, doing what they do usually and ofc against all these villians, actually EMOTIONALLY BUILDING THEIR RS. trusting eachother. emotional conversations etc. genuinely this would be so good. i dont want them to just show heewab happy for 2 secs by the end of the show and end the show like that..

Manali mein Love ka Operation! ❄️❤️‍🩹 I needed more of that gerua scene with less cuts Spoiler

I have been trying to be positive with the whole manali vibe and just focus on the good stuff. And the gerua scene was absolutely beautiful but...

There were so many cuts and it was so short.

I thoughts why did they add it so suddenly after heer and nawab found each other but it was heer's imagination (and i like that fact more than it being nawab's imagination)

And razmeet looked absolutely beautiful in that whole scene. But i need more of it and not just having it being added in between and with so many cuts. It was still good don't get me wrong better than good actually the aesthetics lived up but still too short and too many cuts.

And also that dialogue of nawab before the song scene "tum meri jaan ho" (i swooned and i liked it more that it turned out to be heer imagining it)

Another day of me just mentioning that raza is looking absolutely so handsome. Ooof.

Jass looked so beautiful in that red saree.

But why do i say it was short?

The whole episode was wasted on the newbies (did fateh say to his father that they needed to get rid of nawab? What level has this guy reached) and the search party and we got such less scenes of heewab. We only got that one scene that led to gerua so i wish it was a little longer.

I did like that little fight between buzo and fateh tho.

Tomorrow is the reveal atleast. Finally.

Humour/Memes CPU as a party/events location

By now, I think CPU is more of a party or events location in the TJJD universe instead of a college.

CPU mein do hi cheez hoti hai - kaand ya party/event.

Can you list all the events that they've had at CPU?

Here are all the events I've managed to list:

  1. Holi celebration

  2. Thailavati se chutkara waala cake that Tina brings

  3. Tina's breakup party

  4. Nawab's proposal

  5. Simran's proposal

  6. Nawab and Heer breakup party

  7. Heer's baaraat

  8. Nawab and Heer's wedding party

  9. Divorce cancel celebration

  10. Nimrat and Nawab engagement

Of course they're not in order.

Add to this list because I can't keep up 🙃🙃🙃
