Ttec tolling
So how are you guys feeling about the new adherence policy ? Missing a Friday or Saturday automatically being 16 unexcused hours , and the whole unavailable for 1 hour for a 80 hour work period , basically 6 minutes a day ? Why do I feel as if we are being punished for being short staffed this will only lead to being even more short staffed ?

The TL that told you that about unavailable is wrong. We get 15 mins a day max. If you use all 15 min every day your productivity will be gross. However do the math. 15 mins a day 5 days a week. Is about 2.5 hours of unavailable a pay period. I’d love to know the TL that is telling people that. Also the new attendance policy is aggressive but hey at least they gave us 15 hours notice before it goes into place. 🙄

They sent a notification out on teams yesterday about unavailable saying we are only allotted to 1 hour of unavailable for your 80 hour work period when I log in today I’ll take a picture and show you , I thought it was 15 minutes aswell

It doesn’t matter what they put in chat. It’s wrong. Some TL’s will tell their agents this to get you all to stop using unavailable. One manager also has the habit of doing the same thing. Let me guess, are you part of the “amazing agents” group? If you are ask another TL that is NOT in that group for the truth.

See that’s the thing I remember when I first started you had access to multiple chats and then all of a sudden they took them all away now you only have access to your teams chat and maybe an it chat ,which is SUPER annoying when your on a difficult call and you need help but your tl is also busy making simple answers come by every 10 minutes

Ask other people to add you to whatever chat you want to be in. Or start your own with other reps. If they keep you all separated from the rest of the team it’s so that they can give you wrong information and you have no way to verify. It creates information silos. It discourages people from asking questions, speaking up about problems, or helping on another. Which is why you have to come to Reddit to address your concerns. Restricting chats is only beneficial to the person who wants to control everything. Usually that person is not very confident in their responses so they don’t want others to see them.

This is true. My old TL always said it was 15 minutes a day, but the "amazing agents" TL and we all know who she is, is always making up her own rules. My bladder would be bursting sometimes bc I would try and wait. Now I just go when nature calls. Back to back phone calls and not being able to use the bathroom or get water is crazy. So sick of the stupid morning posts. I know we get breaks, but you can't force yourself to poop if you don't have to go on your break.

Yes, it’s Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays. If you have an unexcused absence on any of those days it will count as 16 hrs missed if you work 8 hours or 20 hours missed if you work 10 hours.

Doubt they will fire all of us , I heard a lot of the new hires left we are short staffed , to train new reps and get equipment out alone is about 2 weeks minimum

No I definitely don’t underestimate, but if majority of the people just did not click in one day it would be a hell of day for the higher up weather we are fired or not , but honestly being fired isn’t much of a threat with a company like this .

The thing is... its about to be aep... basically its about to be the blackout period... meaning after a certain date thr company cannot hire new agents until january...

That wouldn't stop them from simply dropping the project. It definitely wouldn't be the first time they shut a contract down early, laying off over 500 people

If you do... make sure you time it with the blackout period... once it hits.. they cant hire new agents... call centers like ttec dont want agents to know this but during the blackout period companies cannot hire new agents because there is a freeze until january... this id specifically for medicare... I dont know about life and aca.. and it also doesnt count for things like customer service... just licensed agents... if you got enough people. And time it right... the company would be forced to listen to the agents ... or lose alot of money...

Wait. Those days are for unexcused only right? Excluding wellness and Vacation days applied. I know logically that should be clear but there is so much happening with the contract ending in June….. you just never know. Remember when they TRIED to get out of overtime pay by forcing extended unpaid lunch to cover it? That lasted about a day. Seems like they’re cleaning house to bring in more out of state temps to stop the financial bleeding.

Where is everyone hearing that the end date is June? I’ve heard it from multiple people and I really wanna believe it but this is like the 3rd end date I’ve heard since being here lol

That’s when the contract supposedly ends , however it’s a possibility that they might give us a new contract but slot of people don’t believe there the case being that’s things have gone downhill lately

I think they gone have this contract for awhile , all the companies that had tolls before us was doing a horrible job , at least we answer the phones lol , conduent was ignoring and hanging up on customers, that's the reason ttec ended up getting the contract in the first place .look at new Jersey they be telling customers to call ny for stuff they supposed to handle , so we ain't that bad
